The sad irony is, the game actually is a key division matchup, since that division can be won at 8-8 (maybe even at 7-9). 

I realize that a lot goes into making the MNF schedule (in the offseason, this may have seemed to be a compelling matchup...plus I think the NFL makes the network have every team on MNF at least once every 3-4 years)  but this game doesn't inspire a whole lot of excitement for most fans.
