I was a victim of Weiders BS twenty years ago, I remember back then I was gullible enough to believe it all, It wasn't until I read an article from another less well known magazine where Tom Platz came out and was very honest about the way of life that was needed to excel in BB, unfortunately, the lifestyle excesses have increased dramatically and the BS in still just as rampant as ever - I always liked Dave Draper, he still trains today and always had common sense things to say about training - I think most people over complicate the whole thing, if you can DEVELOP THE DISCIPLINE AND WILL TO EAT CLEAN ALL THE TIME, work physically in some capacity daily and get good quality rest your body does the rest - it is hard to stay focused with so much BS being thrown around all the time - eat clean, use your muscles, sleep well & stay hydrated - there that will do it!

trained my whole life up until about two and a half years ago, even opened a small gym, life changed, trying different things now and I am hoping to begin a training cycle soon, but not weights orientated, more cardio! - I am over the whole getbig phase, I have been walking around at over 100kg for the past 20 years, I am looking forward to slimming down in my older years! More modern tennis player type body - that will do me!

Interesting that you feel this way; so do I. It took me most of my adult life to come to the conclusion that my genetic predisposition to be skinny was actually a good thing. Spent all those years fighting it, trying to be big. When I finally got there, I didn't like how it felt or how I looked in clothes. Since I am disinclined to walk around in a thong (joke), I am currently in the process of shedding those unnecessary pounds. I look forward to weighing between 175 and 180 at 5'11".
