Keep typing thats all you can do  ;) Oh and Yates may be missing one bicep as you say but Ronnie is missing two calves .

And when they change the name of the pose to Back-Double-calves your post will be relevant. ;)

. . . and you're directly channeling the voice of God onto our screens. wtf?

I don't know who has a better back b/w Yates and Coleman, but I do know that it's too close to call . . . arms are another matter.  and there's a reason why you can barely see their calves in the pic you posted. think about it.

Sure the calves play no part in the back double bicepshot  ::) read Arnold Schwarzenegger's Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding and it talks about how poor calves ruin the whole effect of ANY back shot , the judges are looking for more than just a great back & biceps in this pose not to mention balance & proportion .

If you say so, Nippletastic Dickmonger.

But it seems that the actual real life judges on Earth (not internet judges) don't hold calves in such high regard and haven't really ever done so. When's the last time poor calves stopped someone from winning a contest? Or conversely when's the last time great calves were the difference maker? You relentlessly trumpet Dorian's calves and forearms when they are nothing more than ancillary muscle groups in the real world. In the Major muscle groups Ronnie obliterates him. What's next, who's got whiter teeth?

Checkmate , Dorian !! Whoa Nelly !! >:(

First off, I think RC is awesome but, aside from the biceps peaks, Dorian is busting Ronnie's ass in that photo. Ronnie has the better bi's esp the peaks, but Dorians shoulders & back width/thickness & overall hardness beats Ronnie.

ND, I agree that in that pic Dorian's back is better, but Ronnie's arms and shoulder kill him.  In later years, when Ronnie is like 30 pounds heavier, he is thicker and wider than Dorian.  It is no contest.  Dorian is drier, but  his arms suck.  His delts have no shape.  His glutes aren't ripped and Ronnie's hams are better.  Calves are all Dorian.  Only a blind man would constantly go on about Dorian being superior.  In 1995 yes, in 2005....NO.  Ronnie has taken it to a different level.  From the front he is thicker and better.  dorian had better abs initially, but by 1995-1996, he had a disastrous GH gut also.  Regardless, if Haney would have kept on going this would be a moot discussion.  I like Dorian, but he is far from the greatest BB ever.  Hell, according to Arnold, he was an average Mr. Olympia.  Once again, give Sergio and Arnold the drugs these guys took and you would see how far aesthetic, pleasing physiques with mass look.  Dorian was mass, but his lines were average at best.  Ronnie does not have the most pleasing shape, yet he tapers better than Yates.  They are both great, but I feel that Ronnie 2003 would have slaughtered Yates easily.

maybe it's the lighting, but his upper body doesn't look as hard as Dorian's could occasionally be.

One of the best pics ever of the two MrOs, which clearly shows Yates overall superiority.

And yet, Dorian is only one year older than Ronnie. If Dorian were still competing today...Ronnie would still be his bitch! ;D ;)

Yates' back looks great. Ron's definitely bigger & wider, and wins when looking at the OVERALL UPPER BODY from the back.

In terms of JUST BACK, a few with incredible DENSITY & dryness win:

Haney, Yates, Wheeler. Columbu, Robinson, etc..

Dorian's rear double bi was inferior to Ronnie's, although the rear lats are close. Ronnie wins.

Ron wins on overall shots from the back-arms and delts are so much better.

Strictly in terms of back he never had Haney's or Yates' density or dryness. That's a deciding factor for me; only if width & size trump density & quality is Ron's back better.

crazy thing was, Ronnie's conditioning in his pre-olympia years was actually superior to post-98. Really, Dorian's conditioning is far superior to Ronnie.

Sergio didn't have Wheeler's density or detail, actually, esp. back.
