Ok, that is true, but if you get convicted of a crime that is listed as something NOT allowed by the IFBB rules then it is no longer heresay, it is a fact.

And how about that "Victor's" gym business? 8)

What a nice guy, Ripped off how many New Yorkers? Telling his sales people to keep selling memberships the day before he knew he was closing doors.

I have nothing personal against Victor and think he has incredible physique, etc.
I believe he was convicted and spent time in a NY prison for a felony drug charge 2-3 years ago?
Wouldn't this violta the IFBB pro divisions own rules and guideline for being  eligible to compete as
an IFBB pro?  Just curious, thanks, Howard

Yes, it does, and I can guarantee you that during the time he was incarcerated...that he was suspended and  not allowed to compete on an IFBB stage..! ;D

To me his Calf Implants are more reason to ban him. This applies to any competitve bodybuilder. Implants and Oil have GOT to be serious reasons to ban athletes surely ?!!

Ahhhh, NO SHIT Bob! Of course he wasn't allowed to compete during the time he was incarcerated! How could he? He was locked up!

The point here is how was his actions "ok" for the IFBB not to even fine him or give him a 1-2 year suspension? He was getting ready for a show almost as soon as he was released.

But funny how Lee Priest can't come back after merely competing in an organization to make a living?!

What are they gonna fine him $20 ::) They don't make enough money in BBing to fine everyone who gets in trouble for steroid related issues. If that were the case I doubt anyone would compete.

He [Victor] seems to be doing ok financially. A "fine" would have been appropriate. They [the IFBB] should have NOT allowed him to renew his pro card for at least 1 or 2 years thus him not being able to compete.

Well what if it happened to somone who is not a top Pro. Top pros aren't rich and lower ranked pros except for the rare guy here and there aren't exactly raking in the dough either, they all use and the I.F.B.B. knows so why should they punish them if they get caught by the authorities. If anything they should help them get through legal issues but I doubts that's ever gonna happen for obvious reasons.

Kevin Levrone got fined over 10 grand one year for something (i think it was 25k).  I remember reading in the magazines they took it out of his olympia placement check.  I believe it was for him jumping in the show last minute, after saying he wasn't going to do it.

Vic is a piece of shit Chick.  Busted 2 times for being a DRUG DEALER.  Ketamine, X-tacy, sole money from people in NYC and is on his 3rd investigation as we speak in Orlando, FL.  Why you stand up for a piece of trash like him?

Exactly...! Read the beginning of the thread and it should bring you up to speed about "Victor's past".

Don't get me wrong, dude looks sick on stage. But one has to be accountable for his actions and his actions have NOT been that of a 'model citizen'.

I guess he could have posed in a virtual way from a web cam feed to the Olympia big screen and been judged like that had he not been suspended while in jail LOL.

Thanks for the replys Bob , I know you don't have to answer them but do anyway.
In the end I simply want a great show and am concerned for the welfare and well being of all the pros .

Exactly my point and I could care less if what he does in his personal life. However, the man did break the law and was sent to prison, that is my point, nothing more

No Shit, Sherlock! But if you get busted ,as he did, there should be some accountabilty. In the end, it makes the sport look bad. Why? Cuz his bust was PUBLIC! Yeah, everyone breaks the law everyday one way or the other. Hell, do you think Michael Vick is the ONLY one in the world that organizes and bets on dog fights? NO.

But he was the one that happend to get busted and it looks bad for the NFL so they had to do something. Victor happens to be a public figure (although not nearly as popular and mainstream as the NFL).

The IFBB should have done some type of dicipline to at least make it look like they follow their own rules.

Again he got busted for selling Ketamine and Xtacy as well.  He then ratted everyone out and got no time.  This was AFTER his bust for Human Growth Hormone.  So it was his 2nd offense!

The IFBB knows what it is doing with regards to punishment.  Just because you guys don't hear about it, doesn't mean it's not taking place.

I'm pretty sure being a drug dealer or a convicted felon is NOT against the actual IFBB rules.  If that was the case then there would be no IFBB.  Hope this helps.
