the city is absolutely filled with love, positive energy, philosophical inquiry, artistic flair, and community. when the sports teams are playing well, they are absolutely unbeatable. there is just something in the air, a vibration of sorts, that can not be matched. and those tigers have some karma headed their way for knocking oakland out of the playoffs!

It's also the only city where everyone is in a good mood and nice. You never see a fight either. It's like the fog cast a spell over it or something.

its all in good fun ;D but seriously, people in the bay get very passionate about things, unfortunately there is an underbelly that takes the passionate culture and extends it to violence, gang involvement, and other various forms of criminal behavior. but as opposed to other areas where such people are generally mean spirited and socially undesirable, in the bay even the violent and the misguided usually have a positive swagger and optimistic mindset outside of those harmful behaviors.

I live on the peninsula. There are plenty of assholes here, and politically it's like oil and vinegar. Thank God for sports, a way for us to bond with all these assholes and freaks. ;D
