see, that was my point above. those men aren't interested in no hood rat, they want to prove that they have stepped up in society, or into a better socio-economic status, and that means dating a white woman.
Your assuming that the black women are hoodrats. Many are not. There are I believe more black women with advanced degrees than black men. In my area, the Balt-washington, dc area there are tons black women who are not hoodrats and have good , if not great jobs. Many complain about finding a good black man, like they are at some undisclosed location. But they are very picky. Also, they will date dudes who are incarcerated as well, in fact those men are a single man's biggest competition. They have all day to wrk out and think of shit to say. Many come out of prison with a place to stay.
There are far more black women in the professional workforce than black men, as it is for white women vs white men. More women graduated college, law school, grad school than men period.
Black women just make poor choices in men. Period. Steve Harvey has a book about it, because he would get all these letters about the literally dumb shit that black women would do. And then blame black men for it. And you can't have a family unless a woman picks the right man to head that family.
