the current economy is certainly much better than it was the last time we had a Republican in the White House

Obama already fixed the economy....as for the borders....they will NEVER BE SHUTDOWN....no one want to do it

everything is relative
compared to what we had 6 years ago or even 4 years ago it's definitely much better
look at the basic markers - gains in employment, real estate values stabilized in most areas and hitting new highs in many areas, value of the dollar (great comparison of the relative strength of our economy to the rest of the world), just to name a few. 

Can you still find things to complain about?  Most definitely.

Are things much better than the shitstorm handed off to him by a Republican POTUS ?  MOST DEFINITELY

He would have done it again, if Boehnner/Reid/Obama didn't undercut him on the trillion dollar budget.
