Police found that she had supplied the boy with rum, Tylenol, and NyQuil as part of a suicide pact. No foolin'. A freakin SUICIDE pact.
Dickey was charged with unlawful imprisonment, promoting a suicide attempt and endangering the welfare of a child.
In August, two months later, Dickey was charged with rape, after the police discovered that the she had sexual intercourse with boy at least twice after the first incident.

During the trial, the prosecution claimed that Smart had coldly plotted to seduce Floyd and convince him to murder her husband. Smart maintained that Floyd shot her husband of his own accord, after she threatened to end their affair.
She was found guilty in 1991 of being an accomplice to first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and witness tampering. She was given life without parole. Smart is still imprisoned in upstate New York.
Pamela Smart had a movie made about her, the 1995 Nicole Kidman film To Die For.

Police caught them in the act of conjugating vowels and arrested Harder, just as she was teaching the young boy how to pronounce her last name.
While in Kansas the age of consent is 16 years old, state law bans sexual relations between educators and students even if the sexual relation is consensual, because c'mon, duh.
Harder was charged with unlawful sexual relations. Later on, the charge increased to aggravated endangering of a child, to which she pleaded no contest. She received a suspended 12 month jail sentence in the end.

The two married using a loophole in Georgia law that waives parental consent and age requirements for a teenager to marry if the bride is pregnant. Clark was eight months' pregnant with the couple's child when she was arraigned.
Clark will be in jail when she gives birth to her baby and her husband is also in a juvenile detention for legal problems unrelated to their relationship.

A former music teacher at Greenfield High School in Missouri, 23-year-old Alison Peck was charged with two counts of statutory rape after admitting to having sex with a 16-year-old boy.
Peck was charged with a lot more than just her namesake's innocent kissing action, with two counts of statutory rape of a child under the age of 17, in which she was charged in two different counties (no fat jokes, please, we're all better than that around here; plus her smile is probably a lot prettier when her entire life isn't being ruined).
Peck admitted to having having sex with the teen, stating that a friendship "had turned into a sexual relationship." After these original charges were filed, Peck was instructed to have no contact with the student or the student’s family. Because there's nothing more natural than calling up your statutory rape victim's parents for a quick drink at the local Applebee's after getting out of jail.
However, two of Peck’s friends contacted the 16-year-old boy and set a time to meet with her at a local "Inn", that probably charged by the hour. The two friends picked up the boy and dropped him off at the "Inn" where he and Peck spent the night together not playing video games.

I knew Deanna Higgins during the time this was going on. She pleaded no contest. She got 3 years probation. Problem was though, the boys story kept changing and didn't hold water. She only pleaded no contest so this would all go away. The affair was revealed yesterday by The New York Post — which ran a front-page picture of the pair kissing on Friday at Bleecker Playground in Greenwich Village and published the video online.
The case has been turned over to the Department of Education Special Commissioner of Investigations and Warning was reassigned.
However, school officials said Warning did not report to her new job yesterday and could not be reached for comment.
Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott said: 'It's my understanding that she did not show up to her reassignment center.
'So we'll do more investigating on why she hasn't shown up.'
Other students told The New York Post how Warning at first tried to resist the teenagers and threw them out of her classroom when they would try to chat her up.

Marisa L. Anton, 33, a female librarian at New Rochelle high school, was arrested Wednesday by New Rochelle Police after going to meet a 16-year old male youth for what she believed would be a sexual encounter. Anton did not report to work today at the high school, sources say. The boy, a student at the school, had complained to his parents that Anton had made inappropriate remarks that made the boy uncomfortable. The parents called the police. The police set up a sting: they had the boy call Anton and arrange a meeting. When Anton showed up for the meeting she was arrested. The initial tip came from long-time Talk of the Sound source and school district insider known only as "Deep Throat".
New Rochelle Police Captain Joseph P. Schaller said the victim came to police headquarters on Sunday, May 27th to report that for the past several months Anton had engaged in explicit sexual conduct. The boy complained that Anton was flirting in emails and text messages.
Schaller said a police investigation confirmed the student's report, and police detectives apprehended Anton when she appeared at the student's residence allegedly to have a sexual encounter
"She invited him to engage in sexual contact," said Schaller. "She was brought in for questioning and taken into custody".
"No sexual contact occurred," added Schaller.
NEW ROCHELLE POLICE STATEMENT: Yesterday afternoon, New Rochelle Police Detectives arrested Marisa Anton, age 33 of34 Winchester Avenue, Yonkers, New York, a Librarian at New Rochelle High School charging her with Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the First Degree, a Class D Felony.
On May 27, a sixteen year male student at New Rochelle High School appeared at Police Headquarters and reported that for the past several months Ms. Anton had been sending him e-mails and other computer data communications of explicitly sexual content in an effort to invite him to engage in sexual conduct with her. Police investigation into the matter confirmed the student's report and Police Detectives apprehended Ms. Anton when she appeared at the student's residence in an apparent attempt to accomplish a sexual encounter.
STATEMENT BY RICHARD ORGANISCIAK SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS. CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT OF NEW ROCHELLE: Ms. Marisa Anton, a librarian at New Rochelle High School, has been employed by the district since September 1, 2008. Ms. Anton had no prior criminal record and passed all background checks in compliance with New York State law. She has been suspended from her assignment until further notice.
As with all matters concerning our students, we take these allegations very seriously and are deeply concerned about the nature of the charges that have been made against one of our employees. The district will, of course, continue to give full cooperation to law enforcement authorities.
UPDATE 2:00 p.m. New Rochelle High School Principal Don Conetta delivered a robocall (after the jump) with a similar message to parents at New Rochelle High School. In addition, students were offered access to counselors for those students who are distraught over the news of the arrest of Anton.

Suspended for 30 days with pay, hearing, given a pay increase and relocated to New Rochelle High School.
Several school employees were referred by the New Rochelle Board of Education to the Westchester County District Attorney Sex Crimes unit. Leroy Manuel (Security Guard) engaged in a sexual relationship with a student, as a result of which she became pregnant, moved to Florida and had the baby, sources say. Robert McLean (Security Guard) engaged in sex with students. Kyle Figueroa (Security Guard) engaged in sex with students. After the Jose Martinez arrest, Figueroa was caught on camera receiving oral sex from a student in area of Room 105/106. Walter Hubbard (Janitor) was terminated after being caught multiple times viewing pornography on school district computers. Also, engaged in sex with students.
Jerome Planter (Security Guard) and Geeta Singh (Security Guard) submitted falsified residency records to New Rochelle Civil Service Commission to obtain a position with New Rochelle residency requirement.
Frank DeMasi (Carpenter/Buildings & Grounds) misappropriated school equipment, converting school van and tools for personal use. Kareem Ali (Finance/Special Education) sexually harassed a senior official in the finance department; prohibited from having direct contact with the woman and not allowed to walk past a certain point in the hallway on the second floor. Ali resurfaced again when the New Rochelle Public Library discovered $300,000 unaccounted for in 2011. He has since been reassigned to Special Education department. Danielle Carter (Security Guard ) caught stealing at ShopRite grocery store on Palmer Avenue while wearing her City School District of New Rochelle security uniform. Rasool Hassan Williams (Buildings & Grounds) murdered a man in Ohio. Williams was a repeat offender for many years, drug use, drug possession. Arrested while employed by the district. Arrested for murder in Ohio three weeks after leaving employment of New Rochelle school district, convicted, sentenced to life in prison. Len Ricci (Buildings & Grounds) hired despite felony drug arrest. Phil Carino (Janitor) hung stuffed monkey on a noose, district settled lawsuit for racist behavior. Freddie Smith (Assistant Superintendent of Schools) numerous allegations of plagiarism, Doctorate revoked by University of Virginia, Fired at his next two jobs as these issues became known. Martin Freiman (Janitor): Suspended for making racist statements to children and staff at Jefferson Elementary School, long history of similar incidents. Jimmy Bonanno, Sr. (Buildings & Grounds) misappropriated school equipment and staff; directed school district employees to perform work on his girlfriend's house in Orange County.

These teachers are insane to take the risk..but this is happening on my job as well....guys messing around with females they are supposed to help...I can't understand why female teachers would risk it all and have a criminal record just to mess around with a student.....
Probably gives the female control over the male for the first time in their lives...maybe thats the attraction...but also 18 yr old guys are at their peak in terms of fitness and sexual stamina.....LOL...and the teachers know this..

Take a look at the pics, notice something other than attractiveness? Lack of maturity, lack of seriousness, nt taking the job of being a teacher as being important and being a pillar of the community. Plus, these women are kids of baby-boomers. Baby boomers tended raised their kids in a way in which they were "friends" with their kids, so in turn, these "teachers" act like "friends" to their students, and like authority figures.

Lack of maturity, lack of seriousness, nt taking the job of being a teacher as being important and being a pillar of the community. Plus, these women are kids of baby-boomers. Baby boomers tended raised their kids in a way in which they were "friends" with their kids, so in turn, these "teachers" act like "friends" to their students, and like authority figures.
Do you think it might have something to do with the possibility that these teachers wrapped SO much importance in their own high school years because all of them were probably extremely popular, went to the best parties, got the most attention etc. etc. ?
Maybe having to leave that whole scene via graduation just fucked with them so much that they are over compensating by acting out in this manner?? Like in some weird way this is how they still remain a part of it?

Marisa L. Anton, 33, a female librarian at New Rochelle high school, was arrested Wednesday by New Rochelle Police after going to meet a 16-year old male youth for what she believed would be a sexual encounter. Anton did not report to work today at the high school, sources say. The boy, a student at the school, had complained to his parents that Anton had made inappropriate remarks that made the boy uncomfortable. The parents called the police. The police set up a sting: they had the boy call Anton and arrange a meeting. When Anton showed up for the meeting she was arrested. The initial tip came from long-time Talk of the Sound source and school district insider known only as "Deep Throat".
New Rochelle Police Captain Joseph P. Schaller said the victim came to police headquarters on Sunday, May 27th to report that for the past several months Anton had engaged in explicit sexual conduct. The boy complained that Anton was flirting in emails and text messages.
Schaller said a police investigation confirmed the student's report, and police detectives apprehended Anton when she appeared at the student's residence allegedly to have a sexual encounter
"She invited him to engage in sexual contact," said Schaller. "She was brought in for questioning and taken into custody".
"No sexual contact occurred," added Schaller.
NEW ROCHELLE POLICE STATEMENT: Yesterday afternoon, New Rochelle Police Detectives arrested Marisa Anton, age 33 of34 Winchester Avenue, Yonkers, New York, a Librarian at New Rochelle High School charging her with Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the First Degree, a Class D Felony.
On May 27, a sixteen year male student at New Rochelle High School appeared at Police Headquarters and reported that for the past several months Ms. Anton had been sending him e-mails and other computer data communications of explicitly sexual content in an effort to invite him to engage in sexual conduct with her. Police investigation into the matter confirmed the student's report and Police Detectives apprehended Ms. Anton when she appeared at the student's residence in an apparent attempt to accomplish a sexual encounter.
STATEMENT BY RICHARD ORGANISCIAK SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS. CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT OF NEW ROCHELLE: Ms. Marisa Anton, a librarian at New Rochelle High School, has been employed by the district since September 1, 2008. Ms. Anton had no prior criminal record and passed all background checks in compliance with New York State law. She has been suspended from her assignment until further notice.
As with all matters concerning our students, we take these allegations very seriously and are deeply concerned about the nature of the charges that have been made against one of our employees. The district will, of course, continue to give full cooperation to law enforcement authorities.
UPDATE 2:00 p.m. New Rochelle High School Principal Don Conetta delivered a robocall (after the jump) with a similar message to parents at New Rochelle High School. In addition, students were offered access to counselors for those students who are distraught over the news of the arrest of Anton.

I'm friends with several teachers, and my mother was a teacher for 42 yrs. The women I know that are teachers are no nonsense type of teachers, like my mother. And they are attractive. You walk into their classroom and you can hear a pin drop. They are authority figures, and mother figures as well.

Last week, Talk of the Sound broke the news that Patrick Clark, an electrician working for the New Rochelle Board of Education was arrested in an internet sting set up by the Westchester County District Attorney's office. Clark was in City Hall yesterday, sources say, meeting with Reza Kholifar, Assistant to the Superintendent for Human Resources. Clark is due in White Plains City Court today.

Jose Martinez was arrested in 2011 on charges related to repeatedly raping a student at Isaac E. Young Middle School. Dianna Wessel was arrested in 2010 after refusing to take a breathalyzer and drug test after crashing her vehicle into three parked vehicles and then flipping her own vehicle. Vito Costa was arrested in 2009 in charges related to working a no-show job in the Buildings & Grounds department.
Anton is just the latest in a series of district employees alleged to have engaged in various sex crimes involving students and district employees: Clark went to meet a "15-year old girl" to have sex that was actually a criminal investigator for the DA, Anthony Newman (Glazier, Buildings & Grounds Department) sexually assaulted a district employee in City Hall. Donna Henry (Security Guard) transmitted a nude image of a 14-year old girl to two other district employees (her son and her daughter-in-law). Suspended for 30 days with pay, hearing, given a pay increase and relocated to New Rochelle High School.
Several school employees were referred by the New Rochelle Board of Education to the Westchester County District Attorney Sex Crimes unit. Leroy Manuel (Security Guard) engaged in a sexual relationship with a student, as a result of which she became pregnant, moved to Florida and had the baby, sources say. Robert McLean (Security Guard) engaged in sex with students. Kyle Figueroa (Security Guard) engaged in sex with students. After the Jose Martinez arrest, Figueroa was caught on camera receiving oral sex from a student in area of Room 105/106. Walter Hubbard (Janitor) was terminated after being caught multiple times viewing pornography on school district computers. Also, engaged in sex with students.
Jerome Planter (Security Guard) and Geeta Singh (Security Guard) submitted falsified residency records to New Rochelle Civil Service Commission to obtain a position with New Rochelle residency requirement.
Frank DeMasi (Carpenter/Buildings & Grounds) misappropriated school equipment, converting school van and tools for personal use. Kareem Ali (Finance/Special Education) sexually harassed a senior official in the finance department; prohibited from having direct contact with the woman and not allowed to walk past a certain point in the hallway on the second floor. Ali resurfaced again when the New Rochelle Public Library discovered $300,000 unaccounted for in 2011. He has since been reassigned to Special Education department. Danielle Carter (Security Guard ) caught stealing at ShopRite grocery store on Palmer Avenue while wearing her City School District of New Rochelle security uniform. Rasool Hassan Williams (Buildings & Grounds) murdered a man in Ohio. Williams was a repeat offender for many years, drug use, drug possession. Arrested while employed by the district. Arrested for murder in Ohio three weeks after leaving employment of New Rochelle school district, convicted, sentenced to life in prison. Len Ricci (Buildings & Grounds) hired despite felony drug arrest. Phil Carino (Janitor) hung stuffed monkey on a noose, district settled lawsuit for racist behavior. Freddie Smith (Assistant Superintendent of Schools) numerous allegations of plagiarism, Doctorate revoked by University of Virginia, Fired at his next two jobs as these issues became known. Martin Freiman (Janitor): Suspended for making racist statements to children and staff at Jefferson Elementary School, long history of similar incidents. Jimmy Bonanno, Sr. (Buildings & Grounds) misappropriated school equipment and staff; directed school district employees to perform work on his girlfriend's house in Orange County.

David described Anton as "a blonde dressed in a cream-colored skirt with a cream and black sleeveless blouse", that her parents were in court and that she would move in with her parents. The parents of a 16-year-old boy have filed a $10 million lawsuit after a high-school English teacher allegedly plied their son with cannabis and repeatedly had sex with him in her office.
Married teacher Erin Sayar, 36, was meant to be tutoring Kevin Eng twice a week at James Madison High School in Brooklyn, New York - but their relationship quickly took a sexual turn.
The Eng family's lawyer, Bruce Baron, claims Sayar gave the youth pot from a stash she kept hidden in her office filing cabinet.

A report by school investigators found that Sayar, who has a young daughter, was found out last November when the boy's girlfriend saw them flirting and became suspicious.
After hacking Eng's Facebook account, the girl found messages he had sent to Sayar which read, 'I love you so much' and 'I always loved you, since last year.'
Sayar had replied, writing, 'Oh no — I’m not putting myself out there again. I made that mistake last night and you couldn’t handle it.'
Despite this, the teacher gave the boy her mobile number and ordered him to delete their conversations.
Devastated, the girl informed school officials of the pair's exchanges, and confronted her boyfriend.
According to the school's report, Eng admitted having oral sex and intercourse with Sayar between eight to 12 times.

The New York Post reports that the lovers exchanged an incredible 3,856 text messages over a 17-day period in December, an average of 227 per day.
One midnight tryst apparently saw Sayar pick the boy up from his house in her car.
'Eventually, they began kissing and then engaged in sexual intercourse and oral sex inside the SUV,' the report said, adding that the boy had described tattoos on intimate parts of Sayar’s body.
A spokesman for the Department of Education said Sayar, who earns just over $78,000 (£50,000) a year, is still technically employed at the school, although she was removed from the classroom in January.
The school investigators have submitted their report to Brooklyn's District Attorney Charles Hynes, strongly recommending she be fired.
Eng, who is now 17, is still a pupil at the school.
The sordid allegations are not the first to hit James Madison High School, christened 'Horndog High' after its past sex scandals.
Language teachers Cindy Mauro and Alini Brito were dismissed from their posts after an alleged lesbian romp in a school classroom in November 2009 - a claim they both denied.
Prior to that, 29-year-old English teacher Craig Roffman was sacked and arrested in 2005 after he was found emailing child pornography.

I'm glad they are being caught as well..but I wonder if they are serving the same time as their male counterparts....it seems to be more of a big deal in the newspapers when its a male teacher/female student thing...there seems to be some pretty light sentences being handed out here

Los Angeles (CNN) -- In the wake of a teacher misconduct scandal, Los Angeles school officials have referred the discipline cases of 604 teachers from the past four years to state authorities to decide whether the teachers' licenses should also be revoked, a school spokesman said Thursday.
Of the 604 cases in which teachers were fired or facing discipline, 60 teachers were accused of sexual misconduct with pupils on or off campus or with minors who weren't students, school officials told CNN.
The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing will investigate 366 of the 604 teacher cases, spokeswoman Anne Padilla said on Thursday. Most of the cases focused on allegations of teacher misconduct that involved student safety.

The system doesn't know whether any of the teachers who were fired or who left the district are still in the classroom in other school districts, according to Berman and Ekchian.

Its not necessarily repubs, but the fact is, is the wake of American students falling behind in studies, slackeritis is the norm, so a bunch of teachers (adults) mis-using their authority and instead of teaching, are acting like hormone crazed teenagers. There is a time a place for everything. The classroom is place for learning, structure, and helping the kids learn to be capable adults...the doesn't help one bit.

I know back in the old west Texas football days Odessa Permian would hold back some of the bigger kids a couple grades so they were 20 years old by their senior years.

Some parents actually wait a couple extre years before starting them in school so they would have a physical advantage over other kids in the same grade.
It is not uncommon to find kids 19,20 in highschool (mostly blacks) so they could donimate in football or basketball.
