What techniques would be effective?
Unarmed self-defense against a single attacker on the street.
No running away either.
Wing Tsun .. especially the Leung Ting system (WT) but i´ve met girls who were very good kick boxers or Tae Kwon do.
I worked in a Gym with a female trainer who was very powerful with her kicks in Tae Kwon do ..was a bit of a girl & loved a 3-some
I also think Krav maga deserves a mention as does FMA

I have very busy business april-october so I don’t respond right away to texts or emails when busy so josh took that as me being unreliable for what he wanted to do. I understand that on his end. It was just a misunderstanding and nothing more.

He doesn't. He looks like a man that has his priorities straight. Anyone who feels so compelled to help Josh can just as easily purchase their own flights and meet Josh for whatever it is he is suggesting he will be doing (most likely can't even cross the border - much like the Home Depot meet up at the parking lot).
