I just want to say congratulations to Jeff Rodriguez. I am still a HUGE fan!! You actually won your class this year!!! Im glad they recognized you and put you in the correct place. Im surprised you didn't win the overall though. You were clearly the best conditioned person in the entire show. At my show the middle weight won the overall. Just keep plugging away man. You will get it someday. Just try to keep beating your previous best. It looks like you may have been a tiny bit leaner in the glutes then last year. It looks like you have more striations in the upper portion. Anyway, congrats man and good luck for next year.

Just realized that Tim Martin was allowed to compete as an amateur in the NPC when last year (May 5 2007) he competed as a pro (http://musclememory.com/show.php?c=Pro+Natural+American+-+WNBF&y=2007) in the WNBF! A week later (May 12) he competed in the NPC Mid Atlantic Natural. Bob, Melvin, what about those consequences of competing as a pro in other leagues?

Tim Martin was suspended from the WNBF last year. Nothing will come of it.

I'm sure Tim Martin has no plans to return to that little organization so what could come out of it? And, why would he care? He got suspended for competing in the NPC.
Those "natural pros" are not really pros. In most of those organizations, they become pros after 3 years of training.

you must have missed the very long thread regarding the B&A show, where Melvin and Bob kept insisting that anyone entering the B&A show would be putting their NPC career at risk, that they'd be considered a pro by the NPC because there were prizes being given out at the B&A show, and pros weren't allowed in the amateur NPC. We then listed all the pros from Musclemania, the WNBF and other organizations who were currently competing in the NPC. Bob and Melvin kept insisting there were consequences!

now you're changing your story. back in June, just entering a contest with prizes was enough to cost you your amateur status.
but since he's won his class in at least 3 pro events, I'm sure it's a few thousand dollars.
