i was at Sam's Club getting groceries for the week and couldn't help but notice all the skinny guys, fat guys, skinny/fat guys, bald guys, "men" with no muscle, etc. and i felt physically and mentally superior to these guys, do you feel the same?

Yes. I think we all spend too much time in the gym and watching pro's in contest shape.
Seriously, even guys in the gym you wouldn't think anything of would look better than 95-98% men out there.
But when you go shopping or whatever and look around you hardly see anyone who trains. At all. In any type of sport even.

Im just being brutually honest here I mean I see guys bald walking around and I feel bad for them and their wives and girlfriends look at my arms I mean im sitting at about 10% BF right now at 265lbs so my arms are pretty lean overall so they look and stare. sometimes I dont like the attention because it scares me, but I try to live my life as normal as possible.

sometimes if i dont pass a mirror for a long enough time i do begin to feel kind of arrogant. but when i see a mirror i pick out a milliion things i want to change and all that arrogance goes down the tubes.

I spent the last 2 days on a mini-vacation at a hotel on the beach.
There was an elevator down to the pool.
I'm only 185, but fairly solid at 5 10.
Standing in the elevator with other bikini-clad vacationers, it felt good. The men with their Euro guts would suck in and try to puff out. The women with their nice eurotytties would smirk and look at the lazy fat american in better shape than their european dates.

It depends on the environment. When I was a kid, I worked at an exclusive golf club and saw these multi millionaire types with the easy life. In most environments I'd think they are superior. Then I'd go down to the healthy guys. The guys that lift weights and are active. In good shape. When I see a huge bodybuilder type guy at 260+, I certainly don't feel inferior. So many are totally broke, and aren't the healthiest.

Not so with thin people... so they aren't bodybuilders, so what? For all I know they may run marathons or something. At least they're not weak-willed fatties. And bald people? Are you serious? It's not their fault they're bald, and it's no positive reflection on you or me that we have hair. That's not within a person's control.

That's pretty much how I feel.
Although I also feel superior to rich skinny people who I know are unfit. They might be richer than me, and hell, they might even be brainier than me, but I'll be damned if they can do a better most-muscular than me!

No, when I'm in very lean shape from extensive cutting and training, I feel inferior because I'm not strong enough to be average and just blend in, and feel ok with it. To be a good natured average happy John Doe, that's what takes strength. Part of my philosophy is to not give my self credit or put my self over other people. I admire the average out of shape person that are friendly, helpful, positive and not grumpy.

While you can admire those traits in a person, I find it difficult to admire someone overall if they're a fat piece of shit... it tells me they have no self-respect, don't care how they present themselves to the world, and lack discipline and willpower. It tells me they have a weak character.

You feel superior because YOU feel being big is something that's important, but I would guess that the majority of others don't feel that it's very important, if important at all.

Why mentally? I understand the feeling of physical supremacy. Are you claiming that you are smarter than these guys just because you workout or that you are mentally superior because you have the mental fortitude to make your physical gains?

Yes, but physical size is only one facet of appearance. Someone who is 185 might be faster, more agile, and a better athlete than someone who is a completely jacked 260. Just being bigger does not equate into superiority.
The big guy feels superior because that's what's important to him. It's like when someone sees a 170 kid lifting in the gym and assumes the kid thinks he's "huge", but in reality, the kid is just in the gym exercising.

When it comes to the subject of QUANTUM MECHANICS, I actually do consider myself to be superior to my GetBig peers as well as to most of those kind folks I meet at COSTCO. I are smart when it comes to QUANTUM MECHANICS.
But in everything else I am just about average and somewhat comparable to my GetBig associates. And that alone makes me worried. Very worried.
Am i really just as stupid as most of your guys who post on here?
Wouldn't it be fairer if I just compared myself to the average COSTCO shopper? I think I'd like that better.
