i can tell you right now that nasser need more airtime than that. putting him with boyer coe and then giving heath 30 minutes with the usual bullshit before the show starts and the commercial breaks and music one hour is not long enough!
you get someone on the show, dont disrespect them by having them share the airtime with a bunch of others.

They should divide up the show and allocate the time based on the proportional size of each athlete - in which case Nasser would get 90% of the time, and 5% to each of Boyer and Heath.

Were you or were you not asked to leave Worlds PB (Formerly Golds at the time it took place) By Rick S. because how you were intimidating the patrons to get off the equipment you wanted to use?

Actually I'll just paste it here to make it easier - if you were so dumb to think he got kicked out of Gold's you probably are not smart enough to know how to follow the link:
Nasser was NEVER kicked out of Gold's Gym San Diego. The rumour started in 1997 (TEN YEARS AGO!) when Nasser choked a drug dealer by the name Jeff at the gym in public! Nasser has the tendency to clear things up and take trash out. This dealer was a former business partner of Milos. Milos can be contacted to confirm the identify of that individual, as he also had a falling out with him about money. This Jeff dude was a pretty big guy and weighed about 290 lbs yet still was no match for Huge Nasser.
For about 6 months nonstop this Jeff guy would stare not only at Nasser but his Black training partner at the time Ricky. Each time Nasser would finish a set Jeff was staring at him, and once he even intentionally bumped into Nasser but Nasser patiently held back and didn't do anything. Next time the guy threw toilet paper in Nasser's face and said "he was just playing." Once again when Nasser walked by Jeff the guy SCREAMED loud that it actually startled Nasser. When Nasser asked if he directed that at him he goes, "No, not this time, but I will tell you next time if that's the case." Obviously Nasser didnt like that answer, so he just grabbed the guy at this throat with a FIRM grip so Jeff thought he was dying! Nasser then released the grip, turned away, walked two steps, turned around again and grabbed the guy by the throat once again just with his left hand and was stern with him, basically saying that he's had enough of his provocations and warned him to stop.
Nasser actually did Jeff a favour here because Nasser's training partner Ricky was saying he would have done much worse to Jeff if this continued. Everyone there knows Ricky is for real and is not someone to mess with...he's about 270 lbs, Black, shaved head but with a long pony tail from the top, and has at least 40 tattoos on his body.
This story can be corroborated by Brad, the co-owner of that gym, who witnessed the incident. Brad used to be a submariner, and on occasion drinks beer with Nasser. The other owner of the gym, "Rick" used to be a national competitor and was with the military in Korea before...and is also a good friend of Nasser's. To this day and always Nasser can go and train at that gym whenever he wants and he does not have to pay any membership or drop-in fees.
About 7 years ago this gym was renamed "World Gym" at Pacific Beach. It's a pretty hardcore gym with all kinds of guys working out there, including some pretty dangerous people like Ricky.
So "Dearth" you obviously have been talking out of your ass about your accusation of Nasser being kicked out of Gold's in San Diego. Jeff was the guy who made this story up about Nasser being kicked out. Nasser moved in the summer of 1998 and did not go to that gym for a few years, which helped Jeff's false rumour. Also, this Jeff guy apologized to Nasser and shook his hand in March 2005. Dearth, YOU should also take Jeff's lead and apologize to Nasser.
Since Nasser is known to post phone numbers to corroborate the truth of his stories, I'm going to follow his footsteps too, so any pumpkinheads who dont believe the above can feel free to call Worlds Gym at 858-272-3400 to confirm it.

Well, if Nasser corroborates your story and black Ricky corroborates his story and Jeff corroborates Black Rickys story, then I think asking the question on the radio would be a little redundant. Can you get the three of them posting here by this weekend? ;D

I did some research, and here are the findings:

Most people know this...that Rick has a "Ranger" tat....everybody just assumes he was in the Army & went through Ranger School. Rick in fact was in the Air Force. It's funny how that shit gets around. Rick will tell the truth...most people assume....like you.
I know Rick was there(obviously)....Sal too....don't recall if Brad was. I'm sure he was since he was always there at that time. I am SURE...these guys would like to have Nass back around. But hell, back during the late 90's...there wasn't many big names in that gym. Most of the guys started to leave to SB. Some of them were burned bad in Rick's 'partnership' deal. Don't believe me....hunt down JQ. As in Brad being Co-Partners....I seriously doubt it. From my understanding....Rick OWNS the building. Anyone he has in on it...are silent partners if that or hold a small percent.

All your post really says is that you know about the ownership structure of the gym, and doesn't give any reason to doubt my post about Nasser not getting kicked out. Your one question as to why Nasser did not train there for some years was already answered in my post - perhaps you didnt read it closely enough or you just have poor english comprehension skills.
You also showed that you dont know what you're talking about regarding Nasser "still training at 24 Fitness in Point Loma," as he last trained there in September 2006 - about a year and a half ago!
Tell you guys what - I can actually call the same gym and ask for "Brad" or "Rick Stevenson" to reconfirm my story, and post here what they say. There wouldn't be any point if I do that and post about it here while "knny187" and other doubters still don't believe me or just claim that I made it up. But if you guys will believe what I say then I'll make the call. What do you guys say?

So happening to work out at the same gym where the rumour started must automatically mean you know the truth. So the thousands of people who worked out there from 96 to 00 all must really know what happened right? ::)
I actually have a confirmation from Nasser himself that he was not kicked out, and the ability to confirm from the other side (management of the gym) that Nasser's story is true. You on the other hand are only speculating and going off of rumours.
Further, you lost credibility by making a false claim that you can get Nasser's cell # and that he still works out at the 24 hr in PL. Shows how much "being there" really means ::)
Like I said, I'm totally willing to call the contacts and post what they have to say here, as long as you guys actually believe what I will say about the phone-call. Otherwise, you guys are just insisting on believing your false rumours and refusing all proof that suggests otherwise.

No but poor people live frugally too. So far I have not seen any evidence to suggest he is anything other than desperately trying to make a bit of money and struggling. However, even if you dont have the personal info that I have to confirm he is well off, it should be a no brainer - just ask yourself three questions: 1) How much money do you think he needs to live his lifestyle - lavish or not, and be 300 lbs. 2) Since you know he doesnt work and is not looking for work, where do you think that money comes from (obviously investment income, as a few merchandise sales do not amount to that much as he is not even going to expos and what not anymore). 3) Take a low-risk investment that most people retire on, work backwords with the rate of return and you should get a good idea of the minimum amount he must have invested.

You cant mention how he gets his money if he doesnt get it through respectable means, If he own a real estate agency there is nothing wrong with saying so. How would you know how Nasser makes his money? Are you his accountant? That would explain a lot.

Boyer Coe is very good friends with Arnold...and they trained together for a time while Boyer was in NBBA shows (as was Arnold) in the late 60's. He had a very classic and distinctive physique, and some of the greatest arms ever.

I thought the Nasser interview was pretty entertaining and the overall show was good. But my advice to PBW is to avoid those kind of mud slinging, angry ex-bodybuilders. Nasser had nothing positive to say about a world that he spent years making his living.

Yet he enterred contests to see how he was doing and if he progressed or not. How on earth can he know if he is progressing if he doesn't respect the decisions and opinions of the judges? He also admitted he beat guys he shouldn't have. Not a peep from Chick or Dan! Why didn't any of them ask Boyer who he felt should have beaten him? That would have been interesting. He is the first bodybuilder I have ever heard admit he wasn't the best in some contests. Well, Arnold admitted Sergio was better than him in some shows. Arnold said he would have beaten himself if he were Sergio!
Nasser didn't come across as intelligent as I expected him to be. Boyer was far more entertaining and interesting. Got to laugh as how some call him an unknown. Shows how trophies and titles don't mean much. Most forget about you after 10 or so years.
Dan and Chick have potential as interviewers but are both way too politically correct to represent Getbig. We certainly don't need to have our interviews spoiled by all that crap. They should ask guys like Nasser how they know about things they claim, etc. I notice the topic of drug dealer wasn't brought up. I wonder why? Thanks for the advices....if you want to talk about killing ratings, we can talk about the overwhelming disapproval we've received via email of having him on in the first place...part of being a good host is knowing what the minority is interested in hearing,and viceversa.
I'm not a mediator, I'm a host, so my feelings DO make a difference, and my opinion carries more weight than one who is in the mediator position...I'm not a ficilitator of discussion, I'm part of it...thats my role.

Have to agree with the Bob Chickster on this one. Why should he let his guest trash someones wife? Anyone who has a family should respect that. Its definitely way below the belt to start allowing people to trash a dude's wife on a radio program just so we can all get a laugh out of it.

Oh dear, that's a good thing. It means you've got people's attention. I highly doubt that Nasser expects everyone to love him. What he has done is get the bodybuilding fraternity talking and listening - even if they're furious with him.
I am not trying to be nasty to you - you actually have a good, strong and clear voice for radio and seem relaxed and confident- but I think you handled the situation really, really badly and it led to a very tame, watery interview that didn't shed any new light on things we wanted to hear about in more detail.
Get him to say the worst and then try to get Milos on the next time..you should be desperately trying to court a bit of scandal and get people noticing the show..not inhibiting and censoring the main protagonists.
It's not about you and your morality, it's about making an entertaining show. Imagine Howard Stern if he had your Victorian sensibility.

I think Bob and Dan did the right thing in not allowing too much talk about the wives of bodybuilders. Family of bodybuilders should not be part of these forums.
The problem the hosts have is that there is no way to prove that any statements made by guests are the truth. Therefore, they have the right to not allow certain statements to be made on their show. Nasser continued to make statements about the behaviour of a bodybuilder's wife. While some might like to hear this gossip it really has no place on discussion boards. If we allow this sort of thing then how is anyone going to be safe from accusations and charges?
Nasser feels he in entitled to say his opinion because he believes what he says is true. How are we to know what is true and what is fabricated? Hosts can draw the line where they feel statements might damage others for no good reason.

Hey bigbobs, I give credit where it is due. Nasser was a very entertaining guest last night. Made for a good interview and I would love to see/hear him on the premier bodybuilding show, Big Nation. I do have a question for you though, you and I get a long just fine on here. Sure we fuck around with each other once in a while, but we definitely don't have any type of "internet beef" ;D Why is it whenever I(or someone else) say anything critical about Nasser you feel the need to defend him? I know you are his fan or whatever, but since he is a grown man, have you ever considered maybe, just maybe letting him defend himself? If it were your sister or mother than I could understand. You think you are taking this shit too far?
Glad you enjoyed the interview. Did you also turn it off after Nasser was done like I did? :)
To answer your question, it's a matter of loyalty - if you look up to someone and respect them, you would want to defend them as a show of loyalty. Also, Nasser has been very kind to me over many years, just one example is how he wrote me back a lengthy handwritten letter and free 8 x 10 when I started working out as a late teen and sent him fan mail. When someone is nice to you you should try to retur the favour, so defending him on an internet board is the least I could do.
As for defending himself, Nasser does make some detailed statements towards the getbig crew in his interviews, but you can't be surprised if he does not make an account here to start arguing back and fourth with pumpkinheads, lol.

While Nasser is entertaining to hear him babble on and talk about his nicknames for people; Chic was spot on with stepping in and changing the topic. Not cool on Nasser and shows no class. If he was married I doubt he'd like someone talking about his wife like that.
Nasser should run for office. He claims he is just speaking the truth and not for publicity but then plugs that he has a book coming out.

Not that I'm complaining... it was very entertaining (frankly, I clicked off after Boring er, I mean, Boyar Coe came on), but don't sit there and act like you're the Wall Street Journal or something when you invited Nasser on in the first place. ::)
