good question... it's clear that answers like "48 hours" or "72 hours" are at the very least extremely suspicious, much like all "common bodybuilding knowledge."

honestly, i think people a hundred years from now will believe basically nothing that we do today, re: training.

AJ used to say that de-compensation started after 96 hrs, but later on he revised this statement as he found that certain individuals didn't gain in strength and size until they took 3 weeks btw lower back training sessions

Yep. I can go 2 weeks but 3 strength and muscle start de-compensation.

Depends a whole lot on your diet. Eat like a pig and it can be even longer than three weeks.

Arms are my strong point and for me, after about a month they lose size. Now, I train them every 2 weeks.

if muscle really retained size without training as often as we should then alot of us should have alot of size
