However, if I were from some small town in western PA, I wouldn't visit Philadelphia and say "it's good to be home".

Their are a lot of gyms on the east coast that are just as good as those on the west coast.  They are owned by small business owners and don't get a lot of attention because they arn't in those big cities.

Really?  No real gyms on the east coast?  Have you ever been Bev's Powerhouse Gym? It's where all the guys on the west coast train when they are on the east coast.  And by the way, Gold's in Venice is hardly hardcore, it's corporate and has a fraction of the pros it used to.  Milos has the gym most populated with pros, but it may be the last of the hardcore gyms on the west coast.  Not exactly a fair comparison as Milos was a top pro and is now a highly respected trainer/nutritionist.  Remember, most pros prefer to live in the warmer climate all year round.

I detest that psuedo-confident, psueudo-aggressive, phony,  psuedo-bravado eastcoast mentality that is prominently displayed by eastcoast bodybuilders, wannabe toughguys, and wannabe bad boys. What a bunch of drips. All that false courage usually gets their ass kicked for them, and anyone with half a brain can see right through their little act......oh well
