Legendary Trainer Visits PBW - Monday 8pm EST

“Pro Bodybuilding Weekly” presents a conversation with legendary trainer Charles Glass.  Known as the “Trainer of Champions”, Glass has trained a long and impressive list of superstars, while emerging as bodybuilding’s most coveted trainer.  Charles will sit down with fellow IFBB pro Bob Cicherillo for a revealing look into the hardcore world of serious bodybuilding – presented by Team MuscleTech.

In case you missed it – PBW’s 2007 broadcast season got off to a BIG start with visits from Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler as the world’s Top two bodybuilders traded jabs on the air. Check out Flex Magazine’s coverage of those memorable first 2 episodes - http://www.flexonline.com/news/187

Glass goes way back to the 90s with McClinton, Cormier, and Wheeler.

I'm guessing he has some good stories to tell.

Ask Charles who is his # 1 trainee now that Gunter is sitting out 2007?

Ask, What are some of the biggest changes in training in the last 20 years?

Also, Is Glass keeping track of Cormier for his comeback at the Colo pro?

Cool. Should be a good show. Would be interesting if he could a little about training for regular people, not just genetically gifted pros on steroids... or maybe tell his opinion on HIT, Volume training, DC etc.

Charles, who will win the 2007 Mr O?
Charles, who is the next Mr O after cutler/coleman?

wait a minute...

Maybe get technical... ask him 1 or 2 technical questions.  You have the number 1 trainer in the world on the phone.  Don't spend all the time asking him his opinion of things where he'll be good.  Ask him about the things he knows GREAT.

Charles, can you, in 60 seconds, design the perfect weekly training routine for a 25-year old, 200-pound male, to make muscular gains?

Many people pay hundreds of dollars an hour to get Glass' take on training.  We have the chance to pick his brain for free.  Take advantage!  (Plus a million people will go for that download later - Glass on Training is quite an exclusive)

Ask Glass if he has officially retired from competing on stage?

Does Charles train any celebrity outside of BB and who from that list has the most potential for BB?

Ask, what legacy would he like to be remembered for when its time to hang up the weight belt?

yes, focus on training principals and philosophy, something useful that we can actually take away from it.  stories of wheeler cornering quivering fitness chicks in the parking lot, while amusing, won't really benefit us.

only thing ive seen on charles glass is when flex wheeler pussy trained and had charles glass carry weights for him and put it on the various machines or when he got creative with gunter have him training using different angles and make a lot of drop sets...

but surely, there must be more than that.

it would be interesting to hear what he got to say about rep ranges, whether he believes there's a point going over 15-20 reps on excerises, whether he believes going to failure is necessary, and if so, how often... maybe if he can point out some exercises most doesnt do, but should be doing... which exercises he believes are the pontentially most dangerous... etc stuff like that, all from a average trainer perspective, not a pro.

Hell no.  Charles is the man.  He waits till Golds opens in Venice at 4am and doesn't leave all day.  He kicks ass.  I've learned so much just by watchin him train the pro's there.
Most are all show no go!
