He says that the famous "Photoshopped" photos are the result of hard training, taken in early December, at a bodyweight of 170 and extremely muscular. He says he's happy that people think the photos are touched up, flattered. Color adjustment only. Says he plans to get in better shape this year.

Probably all true. Why Zane would sound bitter about it's another story.

Refreshing to hear him keep it real I mean let's face it Zane's only telling the truth that's been conveniently buried for decades about some of Weider's boys. Franco was good but never the world's best physique, either in the 70s or 80s. Other better BBs never got what they deserved, Franco benefitted from Arnold's and then Joe's largess. This is true.

Franco wasn't as good as Robinson, Padilla, Fox, Nubret, etc., none of whom received the gifts he did. When you hear him interviewed he really seems to believe he was that good. There is zero humility.
