I don't take anything seriously on here.

However, people weren't accused of TDS here for posting criticism of Trump. It's more those who were posting non stop negative stories, regardless of context, regardless if plausible, and posting videos non stop as well. Pretty easy to see who had TDS here and who was just critical.

I non getbig terms, I would use it to describe those who actaully let it affect their daily being. Like creating a twitter solely about Trump, spending time in conservative threads arguing, following Don Trump Jr around in all his tweets, posting on facebook like it mattered......

Must admit, I am guilty of some of those things....but a lot less than I thought. I did make it pretty clear that I just don't like him and never have. But before he ran for office, I hardly paid any attention to him.

It seems to me he brings a lot of negative attention to himself. People who are self-aggrandizing rude and inconsiderate sometimes do that.

President Joe Biden’s closest advisors have ties to big business and Wall Street, with some making millions of dollars in their careers leading up to entering the White House, new financial disclosures show.

The senior Biden aides listed in the disclosures include chief of staff Ron Klain, deputy chief of staff Jen O’Malley Dillon, senior advisor Mike Donilon, White House coronavirus response coordinator Jeffrey Zients, and National Economic Council Director Brian Deese.

These disclosures show that many of the president’s closest aides have deep ties to the business world and have made more money in their past corporate careers than previously known.

These disclosures were provided by the White House to CNBC early Saturday morning after requesting the documents a day earlier. None of these positions were confirmed by the Senate. Many of these advisors have previous ties to Biden’s campaign or former President Barack Obama’s administration.

A White House spokesperson did not return a follow up request for comment.

Deese was previously the Global Head of Sustainable Investing at BlackRock before becoming the head of the National Economic Council. While at the investment firm, Deese’s disclosure shows he made over $2.3 million in salary and bonuses. His disclosure also suggests that through BlackRock’s restricted stock plan, Deese could have made an additional $2.4 million.

Klain, who was an executive at the venture capital firm Revolution before joining the White House, was listed as having a salary of $1.8 million. He started at the company in 2005.

O’Malley Dillon, who ran Biden’s campaign before following him to the White House, was a co-founder of the consulting firm Precision Strategies. The founders of the firm are credited with helping reelect Obama in 2012.

O’Malley Dillon’s new financial disclosure gives a glimpse into the corporate advisory work she did for the firm before coming to the White House. The filing lists Gates Ventures as a client of O’Malley Dillon’s while she was at Precision Strategies.

According to PitchBook, Gates Ventures is a venture capital firm founded by billionaire Bill Gates. The current deputy White House chief of staff also advised the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, the philanthropic arm of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan.

Other corporations that saw her guidance include General Electric and Lyft. O’Malley Dillon’s deferred compensation and severance from Precision is listed as being over $420,000.

Donilon was a managing member of MCD Strategies, a media consulting firm, prior to his role in the White House. His filing shows that he made over $4 million in income while leading his consulting firm. Donilon lists the Biden campaign and Democratic National Convention Committee as two of his clients.

Zients was the CEO of the Wall Street investment firm Cranemere before becoming a lead advisor to the Biden White House on the coronavirus pandemic. His financial disclosure shows that he had a combined salary and bonus of $1.6 million. As board member of Facebook, the new report shows he made over $330,000.

Before Jake Sullivan became Biden’s national security advisor, he was a senior partner at the consulting firm Macro Advisory Partners. His new financial disclosure form shows that Sullivan, from 2017 until last year, was a member of the Microsoft advisory council. The report says Sullivan was on the “policy advisory council advising the president of Microsoft on key policy developments.”

Sullivan was paid over $135,000 in advisory fees while at Macro Advisory Partners and he earned an additional $45,000 in advisory council fees from Microsoft, his new disclosure report says.

Democratic Advisor Sounds Alarm: Joe Biden “Struggling Physically” And Could Be A Danger To National Security

A former Democratic advisor turned is sounding the alarm this week about Joe Biden’s current state of health and how he could be a national security threat.

During an interview on Eat The Press, Dr. Naomi Wolf — who served as a political advisor to Al Gore and Bill Clinton — said she believes Biden is “struggling physically” and it could be a danger for the U.S.

“As Americans, we would be remiss not to notice that this is a man who is struggling physically, and our national security kind of depends on our being grown-ups,” Wolf said.

Biden urges Congress to pass assault weapon ban
The Hill ^ | March 23, 2021 - 01:11 PM EDT | BY MORGAN CHALFANT

President Biden on Tuesday called on Congress to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines and to close loopholes in the background check system after a gunman killed 10 people at a grocery store in Boulder, Colo.

“I don’t need to wait another minute let alone an hour to take common sense steps that will save lives in the future and to urge my colleagues in the House and Senate to act,” Biden said in remarks at the White House Tuesday afternoon.

Biden called on the Senate to “immediately pass” two House-passed bills that would expand background checks for firearm sales.

“This isn’t and should not be a partisan issue, this is an American issue. It will save lives,” Biden said.

That's fine.  That's being normal.

He does bring negative attention to himself, but it was the dishonest media, the twitter mob, and the social media Karen that gave the perception that everything was 1000x worse than it was.

Most TDS inflicted folks didn't know "very fine people" was incorrect, he initiated prison reform, made cruelty to animals a national felony, denounced countries that outlawed homosexuality, appointed the first gay cabinet member, had more women at senior positions that anyone, made us an exporter of oil, promoted middle east peace, kept us out of wars, got Iran in line......etc.

Nope, everything was bad.

They'll pay for it now as taxes go up, and the world views our leaders as weak.

To downplay Biden, White House directs all agencies to refer to ‘Biden-Harris Administration’ in official communications

A leaked email from an employee of a federal government agency reveals the White House is shifting toward a communication strategy that seeks to elevate Vice President Kamala Harris in all official White House business.

The directive, the employee reports, came from a top White House communications team member and instructs all agencies to refer to the Biden administration as the “Biden-Harris Administration” in place of the “Biden Administration.”

“Please be sure to reference the current administration as the ‘Biden-Harris Administration’ in official public communications,” the directive reads, with “Biden-Harris Administration” accented in bold.

Biden sees himself as a two-term president
The Hill ^ | 03/24/21 06:00 AM EDT | BY AMIE PARNES
Posted on 3/24/2021, 6:53:31 AM by RandFan

Joe Biden campaigned on being a “transition” president during a pivotal time in the nation’s history, saying he’d take the reins away from former President Trump and return the country to normal.

But now more than ever, those around him say he’ll make another bid for the presidency.

“I don’t think there’s any reason to say that he won’t,” said one longtime adviser to the president.

Another Biden ally added that Biden hasn’t told associates that he wouldn’t be running again.

“So we all assume that he is,” the ally said, “contrary to this sentiment that he’ll be a one-term president because of his own volition.”

Biden, who will turn 79 later this year, is the oldest president in the nation’s history. If he runs again in 2024, it will undoubtedly open discussions about his age and ability to handle the job.

Republican talking heads, including Fox News’s Sean Hannity, have already been raising questions about Biden’s cognitive abilities, posing questions about who’s really in charge at the White House.

GOP senators implicitly sent the same message earlier this year, arguing they could deal with Biden but that the staff around him, particularly White House chief of staff Ron Klain, made it more difficult. Few reporters who heard those statements saw it as anything other than an effort to make it appear that it was staff running the White House and not Biden.

Biden allies say it’s still early in his presidency and too early to be thinking about 2024.

It’s two years until the start of primary season, and those close to the campaigner in chief stress that no one is thinking about a second presidential bid.

“He hasn’t even fully staffed up the White House yet,” the adviser said. “There’s a lot to do before he even reaches the point where he has to make a final decision.”

Even if he decides not to run, Democratic strategists say it behooves him to not announce he’s stepping aside until later in his presidency to avoid lame-duck status.

“Biden should definitely be preparing to run again,” said Democratic strategist Jamal Simmons. “It’s easier to stop the train than start it late, and a lame-duck president won’t get many things passed.”

Still, those close to him signal Biden is up for another four years. Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) told Politico in January that Biden is “planning to run again.”

“He knows that we are at the middle of an absolute turning point, a pivot point in American history, and he’s up for the challenge,” Coons said.

It’s likely there will also be pressure on Biden to run again, too, given the closeness of the 2020 race.

Biden cast himself as the one Democrat who could defeat Trump, and with the former president flirting with another run, some in the party will see Biden as the best bet to keep Trump out of the Oval Office.

In an interview with “Axios on HBO” in November, Valerie Biden Owens, Biden’s sister who has advised Biden since the start of his political career, said her brother “absolutely” would run for a second term.

“He’s transitional in that he’s bringing in all these young people and bringing [us] back again [so] we’re not a divided country,” she continued. “But sure. He’s going strong.”

Recent polls appear to support that sentiment. Biden has the support of a majority of Americans, with 55 percent saying they approve of his performance, according to politics website FiveThirtyEight. His approval rating is bolstered by his handling of the coronavirus and vaccine distribution.

Last week, Biden took a victory lap of sorts after meeting a deadline of delivering 100 million COVID-19 vaccine shots well ahead of schedule after a slow rollout.

Earlier this month, Congress also passed a $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package, which sent direct payments of up to $1,400 to many Americans.

Biden faces other challenges in his presidency. For starters, he has to break the fever of a nation that remains divided after four years of Trump. He also must contend with a fracture in his own party and pressure from progressives who don’t want him to compromise with Republicans.

He faces pressures to fix an economy that has suffered due to the coronavirus, to mend racial divides, to address inequality and to deal with the latest rash of mass shootings, in Boulder, Colo., and Atlanta.

Separately, Democrats wonder how Vice President Harris fits into the picture and how she will contend with Biden and her own prospects of running again for president.

If Biden does not run, she is the clear heir apparent.

“She is in the difficult position of wanting to run for president obviously but being a bit boxed out because of the whole question of whether or not Biden will run again,” one Biden ally said. “That could cause some friction down the line.”

During his campaign, Biden stopped short of saying he would be a one-term president. But he also made it known that he would be passing the torch to younger leaders in the party.

“Look, I view myself as a bridge, not as anything else,” Biden said on the campaign trail in March 2020. “There’s an entire generation of leaders you saw stand behind me. They are the future of this country.”

But those in Biden World say the president is proving he can handle the job now and four years down the road.

“He’s had an incredible couple of months,” the longtime adviser said. “He’s proving all the naysayers wrong every single day.”

Biden Administration Urges Supreme Court To Let Cops Enter Homes And Seize Guns Without A Warrant
Forbes ^ | 03/23/2021 | Nick Sibilla
Posted on 3/24/2021, 8:50:09 AM

The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday will hear oral argument in Caniglia v. Strom, a case that could have sweeping consequences for policing, due process, and mental health, with the Biden Administration and attorneys general from nine states urging the High Court to uphold warrantless gun confiscation. But what would ultimately become a major Fourth Amendment case began with an elderly couple’s spat over a coffee mug.

(snip)

But in its first amicus brief before the High Court, the Biden Administration glossed over these concerns and called on the justices to uphold the First Circuit’s ruling. Noting that “the ultimate touchstone of the Fourth Amendment is ‘reasonableness,’” the Justice Department argued that warrants should not be “presumptively required when a government official’s action is objectively grounded in a non-investigatory public interest, such as health or safety.”

On Day 57, Joe Biden Sent A Purple-Haired Staffer To “Confront” The CCP… It Didn’t Go Well.
https://thenationalpulse.com ^ | MARCH 25, 2021 | STAFF WRITER
Posted on 3/25/2021, 11:16:09 AM by Red Badger

On Day 57, a timid-looking Secretary of State Antony Blinken “confronted” the CCP—flanked by a purple-haired staffer. China Bullies Biden’s Buddies. The U.S. and China held their first face-to-face meeting of the Biden presidency in Alaska on Thursday.

Video of a tense exchange between U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and CCP foreign affairs chief Yang Jiechi went viral online. Blinken, flanked by a woman with purple hair, raised concerns about China’s aggression toward the U.S., and Yang responded by pointing out human rights “challenges” in the United States, “such as Black Lives Matter.”

Blinken responded, “I have to tell you, what I am hearing is very different from what you described. I am hearing deep satisfaction that the United States is back, that we are reengaged with our allies and partners. I am also hearing deep concern about some of the actions your government has taken.”

Yang replied:

“I think we thought too well of the United States. We thought that the US side would follow the necessary diplomatic protocol. So for China it was necessary that we make our position clear. So let me say here that in front of the Chinese side the United States does not have the qualification to say that it wants to speak to China from a position of strength.”

China has also accused U.S. officials of violating diplomatic protocol by speaking too long in opening remarks.

A Joint Address… Sort Of. There’s reportedly been a spree of demotions and resignations in the Biden-Harris White House of staffers who admitted to past marijuana use on SF-86 forms.

Some staff were led to believe that it would be overlooked during the extensive vetting process that all staff undergo during onboarding. The Daily Beast reports:

The policy has even affected staffers whose marijuana use was exclusive to one of the 14 states—and the District of Columbia—where cannabis is legal. Sources familiar with the matter also said a number of young staffers were either put on probation or canned because they revealed past marijuana use in an official document they filled out as part of the lengthy background check for a position in the Biden White House.

In some cases, staffers were informally told by transition higher-ups ahead of formally joining the administration that they would likely overlook some past marijuana use, only to be asked later to resign.

Under the last administration, the White House enforced restrictions on prospective hires who had recently used any marijuana, including delaying their start date by months, former White House staff confirm.

During the 2020 election cycle, then-candidate Kamala Harris joked about prior marijuana usage and expressed support for cannabis legalization. As a prosecutor in California, Harris oversaw nearly 2,000 cannabis-related convictions, resulting in a few dozen incarcerations.

White House Tallies Up The Misfires. On Day 57:

Biden referred to the vice president as “President Harris” in remarks on reaching the 100 million Coronavirus vaccinations benchmark. Psaki accidentally called the U.S. border surge “the crisis on the border”—and corrected it to “challenges on the border” moments later.

Secret Service Intervened In Hunter Biden Gun Incident; Hunter May Have Lied On Background Check Form, Report Says

Another scandal involving President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, broke on Thursday morning when a new report outlined allegations that the Secret Service intervened in a firearm-related incident a few years ago.

The report comes after Hunter Biden revealed in December that he was under federal criminal investigation over matters related to his taxes and overseas business dealings.

The new allegations facing Hunter Biden stem from an October 2018 incident between Hunter Biden and Hallie Biden, the wife of Hunter Biden’s deceased brother, Beau Biden. Hunter Biden dated his brother’s widow and later fathered a child with a stripper while he was living with Hallie Biden.

Hallie Biden allegedly took Hunter Biden’s gun and threw it in a trash can behind a grocery store, which prompted an investigation from law enforcement officials who were concerned because the trash can was close to a high school. Hallie Biden later returned to retrieve the firearm only to discover it was missing.

“Secret Service agents approached the owner of the store where Hunter bought the gun and asked to take the paperwork involving the sale, according to two people, one of whom has firsthand knowledge of the episode and the other was briefed by a Secret Service agent after the fact,” Politico reported. “The gun store owner refused to supply the paperwork, suspecting that the Secret Service officers wanted to hide Hunter’s ownership of the missing gun in case it were to be involved in a crime, the two people said. The owner, Ron Palmieri, later turned over the papers to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, which oversees federal gun laws.”

The report notes that the Secret Service agents at the agency’s offices in Wilmington, Delaware, would unofficially help manage Joe Biden’s security and that the agency does not have any official record of incident.

The report added:

POLITICO obtained copies of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the gun dated Oct. 12, 2018.

Hunter responded “no” to a question on the transaction record that asks, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” Five years earlier, he had been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine, and he and family members have spoken about his history of drug use.

Lying on an ATF Form 4473 is a felony that can carry a 10-year prison sentence with a $250,000 fine. The report comes as Joe Biden has demanded that Congress enact tougher gun laws.

Obama-era officials return to White House worth millions
ABC News ^ | 03/21/2021 | Soo Rin Kim andLibby Cathey

As several Obama-era officials return to the White House under President Joe Biden, their reunion comes with fuller pockets and deeper ties to corporate interests, new financial disclosure reports show.

According to ABC News' analysis of the most recent disclosure reports, many of Biden's top White House officials, including Chief of Staff Ron Klain, Domestic Policy Council Director Susan Rice, National Economic Council Director Brian Deese, and coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients, have substantially multiplied their wealth over the past few years.

Rice, who is among the wealthiest members of the Biden White House team, dramatically increased her wealth since her previous White House job during the Obama administration, reporting between $36 million and $149 million in various assets in her new disclosure filing released Saturday morning.
