Brittney Griner’s Wife Calls 0ut Biden for ‘Very Disheartening’ Silence

Britney Griner’s wife said it is “very disheartening” that she still has not heard directly from President Biden, even after the WNBA star — who’s been languishing in a Russian jail — sent a handwritten letter to the president, begging him to not “forget” her.

Cherelle Griner appeared remotely on “CBS Mornings” on Tuesday, telling host Gayle King that she has decided to “not be quiet anymore” about her wife’s plight because the Biden administration so far has been unable to bring her home.

“I will find that balance of … harm versus help in pushing our government to do everything that’s possible because being quiet, they’re not moving, they’re not doing anything,” Cherelle Griner argued

Biden staffers left at nearly FOUR TIMES the rate of Obama and Trump aides in his first year in office, new report reveals
UK Daily Mail ^ | July 7 2022 | KATELYN CARALLE

White House employees have left Joe Biden's administration at a nearly 4 percent and 15 percent faster rate than under Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump respectively.

According to the salary reports of all White House employees sent to Congress each summer, the administration's staff dropped 560 to 474 – a 15 percent decrease – from 2021 to 2022.

From his first year in office to second year, Obama's staff dropped 4 percent and during that same period in Trumps' term, the staff dropped by only 1 percent, an Open the Books analysis reveals.

Biden aims to shutter largest oil field in U.S. amid record-high gas prices [Permian Basin, TX]
https://powergrid.news ^ | JULY 6, 2022 | By Ethan Huff
Posted on 7/7/2022, 8:47:17 AM by

In retaliation against the Supreme Court’s recent decision to stop the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from forcibly shutting down America’s fossil fuel industry – at least to the degree and pace at which this is currently happening – the Biden regime is now threatening to close the country’s largest oil field.

According to reports, the EPA is readying itself to cite the Texas-based oil field, known as the Permian Basin, for supposedly violating “ozone pollution standards.” That citation could be the move that drives a final nail in the coffin of America’s last remaining traces of energy independence, which is exactly what the Biden regime wants to do.

“According to the Texas Governor’s Office, the proposed regulations will directly affect the Permian Basin, the largest oil field in the United States, accounting for 95,000,000 gallons of gasoline per day or 40% of the oil produced domestically,” one report explains about the situation.

“This would be just one more move from Biden’s administration to impact the lives of every American by reducing the fuel supply and causing gas prices to soar well beyond Biden’s record of $5 per gallon.”

Former EPA Chief of Staff Mandy Gunasekara told reporters this week that even though Americans are paying the highest gas prices ever in our nation’s history, to the demise of many of them and their families, “team Biden continues to double down on their political commitments to ‘end all fossil fuels.'”

Biden promised a cold, dark winter – and it is coming soon Much of America seems to be asleep at the wheel in terms of recognizing that our lives and livelihoods are now being used as political fodder by the “green”-loving left to get back at the Supreme Court for taking aim at the climate change agenda.

If the Permian Basin gets shut down by Biden and his cronies, you can be sure that energy prices now will look like a bargain later on, especially come wintertime when everyone starts running their heaters.

“It’s going to be a cold, deadly winter in the United States,” wrote a commenter at 100percentfedup.com.

If you think inflation is bad now, added another, just wait because you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

“They want this for us and I am not exaggerating: subsistence living!” this person added. “Biden also campaigned on raising taxes! Who is stopping him?”

The answer, of course, is nobody. Nobody is stopping the Biden regime because America has become too divided (and emotional) and too distracted to get much of anything done except a continued descent into absolute totalitarianism.

Someone else interjected that he likes Russian President Vladimir Putin far more than he could ever like Biden, even though the latter is supposedly our president.

“Both parties are garbage,” this person further stated. “Biden is a total lunatic. I’d like to ask him face to face how it feels to be the worst president this country has ever had.”

Others pointed out that Democrats buy gasoline just like Republicans do, and that it is shocking to see the left mostly ignore the destruction of all of us at the hands of the Biden regime.

“Did people not believe Biden when he promised to end oil?” asked someone else rhetorically. “Did you really think he wouldn’t try to take your AR-15? Welcome to the end, America.”

“How much longer is this going to go on?” asked another about Biden’s wicked reign over the country. “This demented, cadaverous, feeble-minded old man is a threat to our country.”

Four Norman Rockwell works featured in the White House have been taken down and replaced with photos of President Joe Biden, according to Politico.

Politico first reported the paintings were taken down on Tuesday, writing two individuals familiar with the matter said members of the Rockwell family had requested the art be returned to them. Their request was granted last year. A person familiar with the matter said the paintings had been replaced with "several jumbo photos of Biden."

Joe Biden has allowed FIVE MILLION barrels of oil from US national supply to be shipped abroad after claiming they'd be released to help lower soaring gas prices
dailymail ^ | 7/5/2022 | reuters
Posted on 7/6/2022, 10:25:38 AM

Joe Biden has shipped five million barrels from the United States' Strategic Oil Reserve abroad, after claiming that releasing them would help ease Americans' pain at the pumps.

The president faces accusations of a sneaky sleight of hand as it was revealed that between a fifth and a sixth of the reserve oil he bragged about releasing to boost supply made its way offshore to Europe and Asia in June.

Biden authorized the release of a million barrels a day from April onwards. But his action has done little to combat soaring gas prices, with the national average sitting at $4.74 as of Tuesday - still far above the $2.28-a-gallon average from just before he took office.

Biden's announcement about releasing the oil barrels was made in April, and saw him say: 'These releases will put more than one million barrels per day on the market over the next six months, and will help address supply disruptions caused by Putin's further invasion of Ukraine and the Price Hike that Americans are facing at the pump.'

But it has had little effect, with a closer look at the press release revealing that the oil released from the strategic reserve was always destined for the highest bidder - even if they were overseas.

That is due to strict international rules dictating the sale and supply of oil - although a regular American who listened to Biden's proclamation in passing would likely have believed that the increase in supply would have been destined for domestic refineries, to lower US prices.

'Crude and fuel prices would likely be higher if (the SPR releases) hadn't happened, but at the same time, it isn't really having the effect that was assumed,' said Matt Smith, lead oil analyst at Kpler.

Another one of Biden's made up stories or gross exaggerations?

A one-source story about a 10-year-old and an abortion goes viral

“This isn’t some imagined horror. It is already happening. Just last week, it was reported that a 10-year-old girl was a rape victim — 10 years old — and she was forced to have to travel out of state to Indiana to seek to terminate the pregnancy and maybe save her life.”

— President Biden, remarks during signing of executive order on abortion access, July 8

This is the account of a one-source story that quickly went viral around the world — and into the talking points of the president.

The Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, which had guaranteed a right to abortion, has led a number of states to quickly impose new laws to restrict or limit abortions. Ohio was one of the first, imposing a ban on abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, with no exceptions for rape and incest.

On July 1, the Indianapolis Star, also known as the IndyStar, published an article, written by the newspaper’s medical writer, about how women seeking abortions had begun traveling from Ohio to Indiana, where less restrictive abortion laws were still in place. “Patients head to Indiana for abortion services as other states restrict care,” the article was headlined.

That was a benign headline. But it was the anecdotal beginning that caught the attention of other news organizations. The article said that three days after the June 24 court ruling, an Indianapolis obstetrician-gynecologist, Caitlan Bernard, who performs abortions, received a call from “a child abuse doctor” in Ohio who had a 10-year-old patient who was six weeks and three days pregnant. Unable to obtain an abortion in Ohio, “the girl soon was on her way to Indiana to Bernard’s care,” the Star reported.

The only source cited for the anecdote was Bernard. She’s on the record, but there is no indication that the newspaper made other attempts to confirm her account. The story’s lead reporter, Shari Rudavsky, did not respond to a query asking whether additional sourcing was obtained. A Gannett spokeswoman provided a comment from Bro Krift, the newspaper’s executive editor: “The facts and sourcing about people crossing state lines into Indiana, including the 10-year-old girl, for abortions are clear. We have no additional comment at this time.”

The story quickly caught fire, becoming a headline in newspapers around the world. News organizations increasingly “aggregate” — or repackage — reporting from elsewhere if it appears of interest to readers. So Bernard remained the only source — and other news organizations did not follow up to confirm her account.

Under Ohio law, a physician, as a mandated reporter under Ohio Revised Code 2151.421, would be required to report any case of known or suspected physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect of a child to their local child welfare or law enforcement agency. So Bernard’s colleague would have had to make such a report to law enforcement at the same time he or she contacted Bernard. Presumably then a criminal case would have been opened.

Bernard declined to identify to the Fact Checker her colleague or the city where the child was located. “Thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry, but I don’t have any information to share,” she said in an email.

Dan Tierney, press secretary for Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R), said the governor’s office was unaware of any specific case but he said under the state’s decentralized system, records would be held at a local level. Thus, he said, it would be hard to confirm a report without knowing the local jurisdiction to narrow the search. He added: “The rape of a ten-year-old certainly would be newsworthy.”

The Bottom Line

This is a very difficult story to check. Bernard is on the record, but obtaining documents or other confirmation is all but impossible without details that would identify the locality where the rape occurred.

With news reports around the globe and now a presidential imprimatur, however, the story has acquired the status of a “fact” no matter its provenance. If a rapist is ever charged, the fact finally would have more solid grounding.

NY Times again suggests Joe Biden, 79, is too old to run for re-election and says he now 'shuffles' with White House staffers fearing he'll trip on a wire

The New York Times has once again suggested Joe Biden may be too old to run for re-election in a piece that revealed the president now 'shuffles,' and that staffers are fearful he may trip over wires.

Biden, 79, has experienced a decline in energy levels, with some aides alleging he 'often shuffles' while walking, prompting fears 'he will trip on a wire.' He also often stumbles over his words during public speaking events.

Staffers told the left-leaning New York Times they find themselves holding their breath during Biden's speaking engagements to see if he makes it to the end without a blunder.

President Joe Biden is facing an alarming level of doubt from inside his own party, with 64% of Democratic voters saying they would prefer a new standard-bearer in the 2024 presidential campaign, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll, as voters nationwide have soured on his leadership, giving him a meager 33% job-approval rating.
