That first pic doesn't look like Arnold.
It's amazing how much of a reception he got at the airport there. Everyone was looking at him and Franco with awe.

To me that look of the 70's and early 80's is what bodybuilding is all about.I look at awe at the true freak's of today,but I'm not a fan of this extreme size and 40 inch waist's of today.

True. I would hate to have a 40" waist and look like Jay or Ronnie. Much better to have a good taper, aesthetics but still have enough muscle to be looked at with awe. That's what it's about for me. Arnold, Sergio, Franco, and many others truly possessed that look. Even Steve Reeves did and his physique had alot less muscle than Arnold's.

My friend who posts on here as stuntmovie has allot of those. Arnold stayed with him while in Hawaii for a few weeks. He has allot of pictures. Trying to get him to scan and post them.

looking at those pics reminds me that the 70's was a great time to be alive, before crass commercialism, corporate news, rampant greed, technocrates, celebrity saturism and the branding and selling of everything and everyone. Looks like people were happier back then too. Make fun of their clothes but it was a better time overall.

To this day I still can't figure out what could have been going on at that "contest" or "posing" arnold did where these women are inches from him and a "wedding band" is playing in the background.

i gotta say...in some photos his triceps really do look smaller than they should be in porportion to his his biceps....since they say the arm should be 2/3 triceps mass, 1/3 biceps mass.
