Arnolds period in the late 70's was the slimmest he'd ever been. Like he was doing virtually nothing but still had standout big arms, chest and calves. When he posed at the museum he was down in weight but still looked complete. He's been bigger than that late 70s period pretty much the entire time since

He was setting deadlift records when he was 17.
You don't do that as an ectomorph - even on drugs.

He has a square jaw too which isn't characteristic of ectos

A mesomorph is not going to automatically be built unless he works out.

The difference is, a mesomorph is going to elicit far more beneficial gains than an ectomorph doing the same workout.

Same for basically all bb champions, except that many builders of the past 10 to 15 years never get of completely, so they appear bigger than the guys from the seventies.
(Although Kevin Levrone looks smaller than Arnold when he's totally off)

One man's mesomorph is Phil Heath, another's is Bill Kazmaier.

Good post, never seen Arnold so depleted. Not sure I agree that potatoe boyz are an appreciated asset.
