Got this from a girlfriend in Switzerland this morning. So very true. {giggle}
When Women Lie...
One day, when a seamstress was sewing while sitting close to a river, her thimble fell into the river. When she cried out, the Lord appeared and asked, "My dear child, why are you crying?" The seamstress replied that her thimble had fallen into the water and that she needed it to help her husband in making a living for their family. The Lord dipped His hand into the water and pulled up a golden thimble set with sapphires.

Had I then said 'yes,' you would have given me all three. Lord, I'm not in the best of health and would not be able to take care of all three husbands, so THAT'S why I said 'yes' to George Clooney.
And so the Lord let her keep him.
The moral of this story is:
Whenever a woman lies, it's for a good and honourable reason, and in the best interest of others.
That's our story, and we're sticking to it. ;)

Why would you bring up the fact that men sometimes lie? We hate to hear that.
Usually women are able to overlook that, since we know you are mostly crap at fabrications. We can see right through male lies.

Maybe your just trying to reach a little too high on the totam pole, Jag. Now by that I certainly do not mean go into the gutter for a date but maybe your just expecting too much. Try for a good heart first. A good heart is priceless.

1. Don't pass judgement on people as you don't know the first thing about any of us. Assumption is the mother of all screw ups.
2. You have absolutely no say on here whatsoever as everyone here (with exception to one or two) thinks you have some kind of mental disorder.
3. You have no idea on our standard of living here and i'll tell you one thing...its not in a garden covered in dirt.

I've found that when we (men) lie it can get blown out of proportion by the partner. Men expect that reaction and often do not care. We tend to blow it off.
When women lie, as I have found, it can range from little to large. Often the lies are lies of omission and some are outright lies. When I've seen men find out they can get mad or ignore it. I suggest ignoring it if you can because often when you confront a woman the response is immensely negative and often we get accused of jealously or overreacting.

bottom line is that women always have justification for their bullcrap and they crucify men for the same thing....men get criticized for playing the field and for their supposed lack of committment....have you ever seen the MAURY show?...have you seen the promiscuious women on there who don't know who their baby's father is?...and I am talking about some of these women being with 7, 8, 9, 10 men at around the time their kids were conceived...AMAZING!!!...women are good at lying all right!

Sorry to burst that bubble you've been living in but men are very capable of doing their own laundry, cooking, cleaning and so forth. Don't be a man hater like someone else on here. Because if the shoe was on the other foot you'd both be singing a different tune. Men are capable of doing all kinds of house work just as woman are very capable of fixing their cars or changing a tire, cutting grass and shoveling snow. Don't be a hypocrite. Be fair and don't judge the opposite sex.

Actually, I was up at 5am and out the door at 6am and in at ten to seven. Roads were ok but man is it ever getting worse. I really wish these salt traucks would get out there already rather than wait for this snow to accumulate. We are expecting 15cm.... :'(....I should have taken a vacation now. If any of you Torontonians on this forum are out on the roads today, please be careful.

20 solid hours of it! And I just got used to actually feel the ground under my driveway too. :'( I am soooo not going to be shoveling that stuff for a while! I just heard the morning traffic reports. I can't believe how many collissions and buses & streetcars that are stuck and/or delayed. It's gonna get even more interesting when overburdened trees start snapping power lines. I heard over 1/3 of the entire provine of PEI was without power for a few days. Do you think any mall roofs will cave in this year? ???

20 solid hours of it! And I just got used to actually feel the ground under my driveway too. :'( I am soooo not going to be shoveling that stuff for a while! I just heard the morning traffic reports. I can't believe how many collissions and buses & streetcars that are stuck and/or delayed. It's gonna get even more interesting when overburdened trees start snapping power lines. I heard over 1/3 of the entire provine of PEI was without power for a few days. Do you think any mall roofs will cave in this year? ???

I heard about that. He was drunk as a skunk, took his two babydaughters outside with him in there diapers and nothing else, passed out from the booze and his two daughters froze to death. Lovely, huh? They had to dig the poor babies out of the snow. Their bodies were frozen solid. This guy should be burned at the stake.

I'm flipping out. I hadn't planned on leaving the house, ...but I just remembered it's Friday,
so there's probably a huge cheque waiting in my mailbox. I should cash it before the $USD tanks further.
