Whats your downfall...

As a bodybuilder/power lifter/olympic lifter/g4p/gym rat/getbigger/whatever you are ?

What fucks it up for you?


For me its sleeping habits.  I dunno if I'm an insomniac or what, but I'm always up at weird hours (hahahha - last night I was up like a total nerd playing Halo with my friends til 4 am!)
Its really not conducive to lifting, I stay up sooo late, or I get very little sleep, and then I'm walking around like a zombie all day popping tylenol and pounding caffeinated drinks left and right!

Really trying to change this about myself!


As you guys can see, I'm up at 2:20 am right now, posting on GETBIG and eating a box of Milano Chocolate mint cookies!  ;D

I have terrible insomnia on eq or tren.  It's ok though cause I haven't had a job in two years and can just sleep during the day.

I was addicted to Mountain Dew Junior and Senior year of HS!  That shit's awesome!

I'm talking like 2 FIRST thing in the morning before breakfast and before I shower!  and then a few cans spread out throughout the whole day!  I was wired!

I am eating Fish and having water to drink...Yay.  :-\ No, but playing PS3/X-BOX 360, Get Big, reading other crap,..etc I am a insomniac.  >:( It does not get fucked up up, but i just have a fucked up schedule.

Go for the One Liter bottles.  :-\ Damn that shit is so fucking good....I have drank Monster after Monster and got fucking nothing!  >:( I spent $20 on four monster drinks (The Big Ones) and did not get shit, but one liter of Mountain Dew.....BAM!

This is a great post, and I've got the exact same problem.  If not for my sleeping problem, I'd be a very wealth individual.

chocolate chip cookies, or double chocolate muffins. fuck. when i diet i get massive sugar cravings. not so much fats or sodium, but sugars.

Yep same here - I tend to get a mad sugar craving usually post 8pm - I had a good day's diet yesterday and then finished off a big tub of ice-cream - I just couldn't stop eating the damn thing.

Sleep (or lack thereof) is also a problem - I should be going to bed at least two hours earlier than I should.

I think the eating part has mostly to do with boredom. lol. like in my case,

Sleepings habits use to be fucked up but became petty normal after I finished Uni and started working full time.
