I know of Modafinil, which might have less negative side effects as it's not a stimulant.

It allows you to stay focused and concentrate for longer without needing a break.

So indirectly in this way, it can help with memory when studying, as your mind feels more fresh and alert for a lot longer.

It's also fairly addictive and can lead to psychosis if more than the recommended dose is taken.

I’ve taken it before. When I was in college I would take it to study and it worked wonders, you could read for hours and retain it. I’ve taken it a handful of times as a working adult and it wasn’t the same. Being hyper focused on one thing doing what I do made it harder to break focus and switch to something else when the situation arose.

I’ve taken it on vacations before when going overseas to beat the jet lag though and that worked.

Fans of taking drugs?  Really?  Think you can drink booze, smoke pot and take adderral and be productive as a father and a mortgage payer?

I got a script for when I was a full time student in an accelerated bachelors. It’s great for reading And memorizing. Not great for if you have to be creative and use that side of your brain. It also makes you take a huge bowel movement upon onset, like a diuretic. The crash is pretty bad too. But great for studying. Addictive for some people. I didn’t experience that.

Adderall is speed or amphetamine. But it's prescribed by doctors so that makes it ok to use on a regular basis.

Methamphetamine is even better, but its very hard to get a doctor to prescribe pharma meth, usually only prescribed for narcolepsy (a sleep disorder)

So instead, you can just buy some "ice" from your local dealer and smoke it out of a crack pipe.

This.  Anytime I have to change planes in India, I make it a habit of picking up Provigil.  It is dirt cheap.  Under $2 for 100 tabs.

If you are hellbent on using Adderall, go with Vyvnase instead.  Much cleaner than Adderall, doesn't kill the appetite completely, and for most, there are no sexual sides to it.    I always opened the capsule and used 1/4 of the powder and it was like rocket fuel.  Just remember to force yourself to drink a lot of fluids.  Or if you get the dry mouth side effect, you will do so any way.

Vyvanse is a much better drug than adderall in my opinion( having tried them both)
I have a scrip because I have a sleeping disorder...
It is a game changer for sure. Boundless energy, no crash, kills appetite, great retention etc.
Ironically, I sleep better also because I'm not napping throughout the day.

You have to drink more and more and then it stops working.

I've been drinking a pot of coffee a day and it never stops working.  My favorite part of the day.

Sure, that's why Modafinil would be a better option as it's not a stimulant or amphetamine so has far less negative side-effects.

How difficult is it to get a prescription for Modafinil?  I was considering trying a few years back.

Laser sharp focus, no appetite, puts me in a great mood.

I get the same from two cups of coffee on an empty stomach.

Like anything else, don't abuse it and you'll be fine.

To keep from eating out of boredom or because you are tired.
