FedEx Mass Shooter Was Reportedly ‘Known’ to Authorities

The gunman in the FedEx shooting spree was previously known to federal and local authorities — and had been flagged up to law enforcement by a concerned family member before the deadly attack, according to a report Friday.

The suspect, who committed suicide after killing eight at the Indiana facility Thursday night, has not been publicly identified by police. But CNN reporter Ana Cabrera said he’s no stranger to law enforcement.

“Authorities were warned about FedEx suspect’s potential for violence in the past, sources say,” Cabrera tweeted. “The suspect in the Indianapolis mass shooting was known to federal and local authorities prior to the attack.”

The rule of thumb usually is that when the shooter is white - the info is plastered all over everywhere 24/7.  When it doesnt fit the narrative of the liberal woke hollywierd/NYC/LA agenda - it gets buried.

most of these types of shooters (lone gunman shooting unarmed people for no reason) are quite often white and pretty much almost always male

1:45 p.m. — Police have 'idea' of shooter but not releasing name
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Deputy Chief Craig McCartt said investigators have an idea of who the FexEx facility's gunman is, but will not reveal a name until positive identification is made by investigators and the coroner. FBI Agent in Charge Paul Keenan said investigators were searching a home this morning.

McCartt went on to say that the suspect came to the facility, got out of his car and began to randomly start shooting after that.

"There was no confrontation with anyone that was there. There was no disturbance. There was no argument. He just appeared to randomly start shooting. And that began in the parking lot and then he did go into the building, into the facility, for a brief period of time before he took his own life."

There should be something.  In NYS they have a 72 hour involuntary hold procedure if someone is a danger to themselves or others.

I knew a guy who it happened to because he told a psychiatrist he wanted to kill his landlord over an eviction proceeding involving a dog.  He was committed for 72 hours for that.

They are figuring out ways to make guns illegal for as many people as possible.  Back in the 90's they passed a law making anyone who ever had a domestic violence misdemeanor disqualified from owning or purchasing guns.  This law was retroactive, so someone who was convicted in 1975 of domestic violence could have been hunting for over 20 years and lost their right to a gun after that law was passed.  How this is constitutional I have no idea but any politician who comes forward and complains about the law will be ostracized as being "for domestic abuse" or "against women."  I am surprised they haven't passed a law banning anyone from guns who has ever had a DUI or even a public disturbance charge on their record.

I bought a couple of guns a few weeks ago and in the background check they asked questions about having ever been in a mental hospital or having ever taken psychiatric medication.  Many children are put on meds every year against their choice by parents and school teachers because of "hyperactivity" or "attention deficit disorder."   Will these children be barred as adults from owning firearms?
