This should be good...
Howard, what did the other candidate (Hillary) have that proved her competence and acceptable temperament to be POTUS?
Or for that matter...how about BHO, what made him competent and proved his temperament? Because he surely came across as one of the most childish and thin-skinned public figures I've ever seen....even with the 24/7/365 protection from the MSM?
Ok, now those are some fair, thoughtful questions.
I'll do my best to provide an honest reply.
1. To be clear, I was no big fan of Hillary. In fact, I agreed MORE with Trump on many issues.
One thing that made me cringe was her support of Black Lives Matter and LGBT protestors.
BUT, for me a bigger concern was the overall security of our country.
In basic terms, I felt strongly that Hillary would be more stable on international defense issues.
I never thought Trump had the mature temperament to lead our nation and the free world.
(AGAIN) , I was never a fan of Hillary, but I feared Trump was too reckless and impulsive.
You'll never understand a "never Trump" voter like me if you only focus on policy issues.
My concern is about Trump's temperament . Plus, I had concerns with his lack of experience in government.
In the end, the overall security of our country is more important that any other issue.
Obviously, you and other Trump supporters disagree and that's why we have an election.
Trump ended up winning, but his crazy tweets don't always make him look stable.
2. I voted for Obama in 2008, but, I supported McCain in the primary.
Once McCain picked Palin for his running mate, I couldn't vote for him.
I didn't think she had the knowledge base to be President if anything happened to McCain.
I voted for Romney in 2012 and he's the ideal kind of republican I tend to support.
I didn't like some of the things Obama did in his 2nd term.
I cringed when I saw the WH lit up with the gay rainbow.
I was disappointed when he led the way to back criminal thugs over police.
3. I'm not a liberal nor am I a total conservative.
I'm just Howard, and try to make my own independent judgements.
Thanks again for the good questions .
