I can't speak for all law enforcement. I can only speak from my perspective. I believe his negligence while Floyd was in his custody lead to Floyds death. There are a lot of Law Enforcement that share that perspective but certainly not all.

I wouldn't place money on it either. Any time a jury is involved as we have learned with OJ and Casey Anthony trials. What they should do is weigh the evidence from both sides and come to a conclusion based on that.

Negligence does not equal murder.   He possibly could get criminally negligent homicide but murder I highly doubt.

What about lethal amounts of meth and fentanyl in his system along with Covid 19 which if you're hit by a truck and die will be the cause of your death once the autopsy reveals that Covid 19 is present.  Floyd was responsible for his death but since evile "Whitey" wuz holdin' him down 'n' sheit, it is the fault of the LEO.  No...Not the one I think you are, i.e., Law Enfarcement Officer, but those that try to enforce the law.

Yup. Even if convicted, it "won't be enough" and they will riot.

He's not getting convicted of murder, it's silly to even believe it's an option.

Yeah, if he's convicted it will be because of mob fear.  They are letting the inmates run the asylum.  They cannot be appeased, only force is what they understand.  Last year when the riots started (actually before with Ferguson and Baltimore) they should have shot rioters and we would not be having these problems.
