Daniel Day Lewis and Meryl Streep are the best male and female actors today. Lewis needs to take his time between roles, while Streep somehow manages to churn them out. I can understand Lewis' results because of his total dedication to his roles, but have no idea how Streep does what she does.
Bad acting is easy and prevalent. I am a bad actor myself. I keep learning and get better at guiding others, yet I'm unable to improve myself. I'm always self-conscious. Good acting is both hard and rare. Being completely truthful and in the moment is what every actor chases.

Ever see Goya's Ghosts? Really good film. Bardem has a good role as does Natalie Portman.
