The 7 dolors of Mary as a Rosary reading.
http://our.homewithgod.com/benedict/benedict14/ (http://our.homewithgod.com/benedict/benedict14/)

Relate to the 7 sorrows of Mary.
From the Birth to Burial of Jesus.

Someone sent us this card w/an artist's rendering of "Mary" and it says:

The Blessed Virgin Mary grants seven graces to the souls who honor her daily by saying seven Hail Mary's and meditating on her tears and dolors.

On the other side it has a list of what it claims are "The Seven Graces" and the "Seven Sorrows."

The Seven Graces seem to indicate that they think Mary has some kind of divine power.  The bible doesn't teach that at all.

Does anyone know what their reference is for these "Seven Graces?"

Hi AVBG!

I did peruse that site briefly but didn't see if it said where they get the idea that Mary has divine powers.  Is this something the Council of Trent decided?
