I went to the race track last week to try their buffet and watch some horses run really fast. When I got a closer look at the beasts, I was impressed by their thin skin and ultra muscularity. You could see each muscle dancing and twitching in the light. Not to mention their hamstring and quad separation rivaled even that of Ronnie Coleman. As I watched them racing, a thought occured to me - you know, one of those headaches with pictures.

Since many of you are under the impression that pro bodybuilders are nothing without drugs, I was curious if this was the case with race horses. I mean, if humans use steroids intended for race horses, surely those same drugs would have a substantial effect on those they are intended for. After all, horses and pros are both large creatures with substantial muscle and excessive hormones coursing through them.

Do horses also lose most of their size when they cycle off of steroids?

As if anyone would go for a power walk in their posing trunks. And gyms doin't allow you to work out with no shirt.

1. horses don't go to hospitals, they are normally visited by a doc.
2. and more important, horses don't slip and injure themselves because they pay atteintion to their phone.
conclusion: if cormier was a horse he wouldn't be checking out 'chicks' in the first place, so he wouldn't be in hospital.

Big races test horses for drugs like any other sanctioned athletic body. It's not official till the piss test.

Yeah, that is creepy. And in the photo Flavio took with Lou, I'm sure he had to pay a lot more than the usual $20 to convince him to take a photo with such ominous overtones - one man clad only in posing trunks, hosting up another smaller man who is barefoot and wearing only a skimpy pair of shorts. There's no telling how much Flavio had to pay Big Lou to take that kind of picture with him.

Had a friend in Kentucky who worked on one of those therobred horse farms where the horses would be auctioned off at an event somewhat similar to a bodybuilding contest.
Seriously !
The horses would be brought out individually and stand in various poses - front, side, and back. And then the bids would start and one by one, they'd be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
I asked my friend how these horses got so muscular he said, "Wait around and I'll show you the 'med center' in the back". BTW - My friend had just won two state bodybuilding championships within the past 12 months.
When we reached the "med center" he opened one of the refrigerated lockers and showed me stacks and stacks of steroids - Equipose being the only one I can actually recall.
"Equipose works great. That's what the horses are on and it's real clean for human usage too! Wanna shot?!" And then he started counting the supply with his foot and galloped around the room a bit.
How popular is "Equi" today? Anyone know? Must be a lot around since the horses stopped using it.
