Dennis is been around the block for a while now. his career is fast approaching the sunset. I can't remember the last time he won a Pro show. I wouldn't stick a fork up his ass not just yet, but I'll have the fork ready.....lol. I don't expect him to compete past 43yrs old

recently he brought his weight down in an attempt to bring his stomach down.
It worked, but at the expense of leg size.
James is All upperbody. delts way overblown for everything else, horrible midsection.
Never gets peeled.

i'm a big dj fan - but not once has he hit his peak on stage.
He always comes in flat and light.
now there is the gut situation. :-\
if he can bring it in at all - like ronnie managed in 2004 + hit his peak on stage then he could very well be among the top guys again.
if not :'(

He usually has a pretty good quad sweep , I dont think that's an area where he's lacking...I think it's pretty well established that if he's not gonna mess his timing again + keep his midsection at a decent level, he's always a top contender. His structure , shape and size are attributes that cant be ignored.

2009 is his last year. I think it's all over for him as well.
I think 09 could be the end for alot of guys.

Funny thing is that DJ has no pretensions of continuing his carrer much longer. When I last spoke to him, he said that his time was up soon, and that he mostly did this for fun at this point. He said that he had allready accomplished everything he wanted to in bodybuilding and then some.
All the way nice guy....BTW.
