Wearing traditional gear when visiting a nation is something many leaders do, Bush et al.
Can't be compared to the controversy of wearing fur. I'm not some anti-fur fanatic, but people really get up in arms about that.
Only racists or fundy nutbags object to traditional clothes, and they would have to object to almost all world leaders then as they all do it. Many regular old soccer moms and college kids object to fur.

I gotta say, fur and meat and all that doesn't bug me. I'm liberal but not ultra liberal I guess. Maybe something about being from Wyoming :D I don't see that photo having any negative effect. Americans are primarily meat eaters

I am from the tropics, we don't deal in fur or leather. This aren't my opinions per se - just public perception.

I always find the foreign thing of killing animals for sport weird.
Never got why it's okay to wack a deer or whatever else people shoot, but if you go outside and shoot a dog or cat that's illegal. Can you shoot squirrels? Is it okay to wack a horse? What is that thing Palin appears to have offed?
Kill one animal that is great, kill another get arrested.

You're a lame ass gomer if you go out on the hunt like your some badass sportsman. ::) Everyone in my family back to the turn of the last century has gone out, plugged a sack of meat and brought it back. day's work done, months of food in the fridge. Don't fucking tell me what I don't understand.
