No, not what you're thinking, homos. I'm talking about British broadcasting. I listen to newshour on NPR radio, but need more. I hate getting news from American news if I can help it. Are there any apps you guys know of?

Well it doesn't have to concern itself with adverts, therefore it isn't influenced by big business/agendas in that regard.

I like to stay ignorant to what's going on in the world. Might seem stupid but I don't see the point in someone telling me the economy sucks, people are dying, inflation, war etc.

If I traveled back a thousand years they would be saying the same shit they are today.

I get all my meaningful news from getbig.   since giving up cable news, I'm practically absent on the political boards.  every time I drop in, I see the bottom 10% from both the dems and repubs and just have to shake my head.  "We should cancel 100% of any social assistance, let people riot, and shoot them all, as I'm not worried about crime or disease as long as I have a full auto M16.   Then there's the "society has a duty to provide food, shelter, education, medical care, foot rubs and reassuring pep talks on a daily basis and we should make the wealthy pay for it".

Idiocy on both sides... each more ignorant than the last.  Can't stand politics nor political news anymore.
