On Saturday, Ivanka Trump tweeted a picture of the dog she had bought for her eight-year-old daughter Arabella and anti-Trump advocates pilloried her for one reason: the dog was completely white.

By now, Ivanka must be thoroughly used to the vitriol directed at her from members of the Left; here are a few examples of how they have taunted her or slammed her since her father began his presidential tenure:

December 2016: A man accosted Ivanka and her three children on a Jet Blue flight, yelling at her and taunting her three children. According to TMZ, Ivanka was leaving JFK, seated in the coach area of the plane, when the man, apparently carrying his child, started yelling at her, "Your father is ruining the country." He ranted, "Why is she on our flight. She should be flying private!" Various feminists then endorsed the man’s verbal attack.

March 2017: MSNBC host Chris Matthews compared Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner to the infamous and vicious sons of the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, saying:

Do you think this bothers the country to have sort of a Romanov royal family running the place? Because let me just say, you know, we kid, I kid about everything, but Uday and Qusay working for Saddam Hussein. You couldn’t go to a restaurant and have eye contact with one of those guys without getting killed. These people are really powerful. Imagine getting into a fight in the office with Jared or Ivanka – they have enormous power, and they’re always going to be there.

September 2017: Various feminists, after learning that Ivanka had post-partum depression after each of the births of her three children, taunted her by telling her to “suffer,” wishing her “misery,” or accusing her of lying.

March 2018: Chelsea Clinton opined that scrutinizing Ivanka for decisions made by the White House was perfectly okay with her, telling Stephen Colbert, ““I think anyone who works for the president should expect to be scrutinized for whatever decisions not only he or she is making, but whatever decisions the White House is making on any given day.”

May 2018: Left-wing political pundits, celebrities, and news organizations targeted Ivanka for posting a photo of herself embracing her 2-year-old son.

Psychiatrist to CNN's Stelter: Trump 'may be responsible for many more million deaths' than Hitler, Stalin, Mao
BY JUSTIN WISE - 08/25/19

The former chairman of psychiatry at Duke University said Sunday during an interview with CNN's Brian Stelter that President Trump may be responsible for more deaths than Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong.

"Calling Trump crazy hides the fact that we’re crazy for having elected him and even crazier for allowing his crazy policies to persist," Allen Frances, the author of "Twilight of American Sanity," said on CNN's "Reliable Sources." "Trump is as destructive a person in this century as Hitler, Stalin and Mao were in the last century. He may be responsible for many more million deaths than they were. He needs to be contained, but he needs to be contained by attacking his policies, not his person."

The comments from Frances came during a panel discussion on CNN about Trump's mental fitness and whether psychiatrists should be allowed to weigh in publicly on the subject.

Frances voiced opposition to the practice, saying that doing so can have "dire consequences."

"The first is that it stigmatizes the mentally ill. I’ve known thousands of patients. Almost all of them have been well-behaved, well-mannered, good people. Trump is none of these," he said. "Lumping the mentally ill with Trump is a terrible insult to the mentally ill, and they have enough problems and stigma as it is."

He then went on to compare Trump to leaders such as Hitler, Mao and Stalin. Hitler and his Nazi regime were responsible for approximately 11 million deaths, including the deaths of about 6 million Jews throughout Europe during the 1930s and 1940s.

Historians estimate that about 20 million people were killed under Stalin's rule in the Soviet Union between 1922 and 1952. Mao Zedong's Great Leap Forward campaign to transform the Chinese economy in 1957 led to between 20 and 45 million deaths, according to estimates.

Frances's comparison drew heavy pushback, with many questioning on social media why Stelter did not immediately confront the psychiatrist about the claim.

"The only thing 'Reliable' about Stelter is that he is reliably a leftwing hack," Donald Trump Jr., the president's son, said on Twitter.

Stelter said on Twitter that he should have interrupted Frances following that statement but that he hadn't heard it due to technical difficulties.

"Not hearing the comment is my fault," he said.

Frances has been openly critical of Trump throughout his presidency. After Trump suggested mental illness played a factor in mass shootings, Frances tweeted that it was a "dirty trick to distract" from the evil posed by the National Rifle Association and the GOP.

He's also tweeted is Trump was one of the main individuals responsible for America's decline.

NYT columnist discloses 'insomnia' she's had since 'cursed night' of Trump's election

New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg indicated on Friday that President Trump's election was so upsetting that it gave her years of insomnia.

That tidbit came in a column about Democratic pollster Stanley Greenberg making what she calls a "thrilling prediction" that 2020 will see a "blue wave" that will "crash and shatter the Republican Party."

"His confidence will not be enough to lessen the insomnia that has plagued me since the cursed night when Trump was elected," Goldberg wrote.

Golberg previously claimed democracy was in danger and that "Trump has treated his oath of office the way he’s rumored to have treated a Moscow hotel bed." She's also called the president a "professional racist" and decried the "moral and psychic cost to participating in the fiction that people who work for Trump are in any sense public servants.”

Goldberg isn't the only one to experience psychological problems from Trump being in the White House. Since Trump's election, he's apparently prompted chronic distress among progressives -- something his supporters appeared to mock as "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

Psychologists reportedly saw a bout of "Trump Anxiety Disorder" in the months following the election. The CBC interviewed psychologist Elisabeth LaMotte who mentioned a "collective anxiety" she found among patients worried about Trump's actions.

In 2018, the Journal of American College Health similarly said that 25 percent of students at Arizona State University reported symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder after Trump's election.

White House dismisses 'ridiculous' criticism of Melania Trump's coat on 9/11
BY JOHN BOWDEN - 09/12/19

The White House fired back after social media users criticized first lady Melania Trump over a coat she wore in a photo tweeted by President Trump on Wednesday to mark the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham, who previously worked with the first lady, told USA Today it was "ridiculous" that some Twitter users called the coat insensitive.

Some Twitter users noted that the trim on the back of the first lady's coat appeared to resemble a skyscraper with a smaller object hovering nearby, which some said resembled the images of the World Trade Center being struck by aircraft.

The first lady's fashion choices are often heavily scrutinized on social media and Melania Trump faced a similar controversy after she traveled to the border alongside the president to inspect conditions while wearing a jacket emblazoned with the phrase "I really don’t care. Do u?"

Grisham, then the first lady's spokeswoman, fired back at the press last year, urging the media to focus on important issues.

“If media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids — rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe – we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children,” she said at the time.

Complaining about trivial things, such as Melania's fashion choices, obscures more important issues. Both the left and the right have supporters who are out of touch with reality.

No this isn't a left and right problem.  TDS is a leftwing problem.  The standard response when liberals are faced with crazy or extremist behavior by their people is:  both sides do it.  Weak and inaccurate.

No question about BOTH sides being guilty of making childish , personal attacks.
BUT, this is the first time that the PRESIDENT is a major cause of it.

Having said THAT, I'll admit his base love it and support Trump for it.
I simply couldn't support any politician that behaved like Trump.
Ya know, I always felt Bill Clinton lacked moral character because of his antics.
Hillary was better, BUT she still stayed with Bill , which I disagreed with.
To me Trump is even worse because he lacks moral character and acts like a baby.

GOP Primary Challenger Bill Weld Suggested That President Trump Could Be Executed For Treason Over Ukraine Phone Call Allegation
Posted By Tim Hains
On Date September 23, 2019

Monday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld, who has launched a Republican primary challenge against President Trump, said the president could face execution by treason based on an anonymous whistleblower's accusation that President Trump, in a phone call last month, inappropriately asked the president of Ukraine to look into allegations of corruption involving former VP Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and a Ukrainian energy company.

"Talk about pressuring a foreign country to interfere with and control a U.S. election, it couldn’t be clearer, and that’s not just undermining democratic institutions," Weld said. "That is treason. It’s treason, pure and simple. And the penalty for treason under the U.S. code is death. That’s the only penalty."

"The penalty under the Constitution is removal from office, and that might look like a pretty good alternative to the president if he could work out a plea deal," Weld suggested.

"He’s such a lawless man. We’ve got treason, and we don’t have to dribble around the court. We can go right for the hoop," he said. "It’s well past time for this guy, in my opinion, to be carted off to save us all. He's daring us all to let him be totally lawless!"

"He has no understanding of the law, he has no respect for the law, he has no knowledge base of any issues, why do we want this man as president fo the United States?"

Florida teacher reassigned after quiz question refers to Trump as an 'idiot'
By Louis Casiano | Fox News

A Florida middle school teacher has been reassigned after an online quiz question for students referred to President Trump as an "idiot."

The School District of Palm Beach County opened an investigation into the incident at Watson B. Duncan Middle School after a child told her father about the question and he then alerted administrators, WPTV reported.

The question said: “45th Pres; 2017; Republican; Real Estate businessman; Idiot”

The four choices were Donald Trump, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, and Jimmy Carter. Trump is the 45th U.S. president, won the Republican nomination in 2016 and was globally known for his real estate empire before entering politics.

"This was an actual question on my daughter's middle school test today. Furious. Going to raise some hell with the principle. Indoctrination will not continue. (See word “idiot” at the end of our presidents multiple choice answer). Not having it!" the parent posted to Twitter.

His Twitter account has since been switched to private.

The question has since been removed from the quiz, the station reported.

In a letter to parents Wednesday, Duncan Principal Philip D'Amico said "the question was inappropriate and demonstrated an unacceptable lack of good judgement on the part of the teacher."

He added "an investigation is now underway, and the teacher has been reassigned during this process."

Messages to Quizlet, the software program students used to take the quiz, were not immediately returned.

Maxine Waters says Trump deserves worse than impeachment: Needs 'solitary confinement'
By Sam Dorman | Fox News

House Democrats step up impeachment inquiry with subpoenas and deposition requests; reaction from Roger Fisk, former Obama administration staffer, and Kayleigh McEnany, national press secretary for the Trump campaign.

House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters, D-Calif., said on Tuesday that President Trump should be placed in "solitary confinement," arguing that the president himself knows that he "deserves impeachment."

"I'm calling on the GOP to stop Trump's filthy talk of whistleblowers being spies & using mob language implying they should be killed," Waters tweeted. "Impeachment is not good enough for Trump. He needs to be imprisoned & placed in solitary confinement. But for now, impeachment is the imperative."

Maxine Waters Is Still Claiming Trump ‘Colluded With Russia’
PETER HASSON
SENIOR REPORTER
October 02, 2019

Democratic California Rep. Maxine Waters on Wednesday revived the conspiracy theory about President Donald Trump colluding with the Russian government in the 2016 election.

“He has called me names, as he has called many others names, and I’ve been at this almost two years because I understand the danger of this president. I understand that he has colluded with Russia. I understand that he’s embraced Putin. I also understand that he really wants to be and act like a dictator,” Waters said on MSNBC.
