same you see in latvia - I think I saw one single fat person - they don't have fast food joints there - I mean they have one McDonald in Riga and no take away fried shit.
But you have to be a communist or a hippie to put 1+1 together and suggest that countries who have a lot of fast food places also have a higher obesity rate.

It's not just fast food, it's lazyness and endulgement. America has lived beyond its means for a long time and that's about to bit most of us in the ass.

In Vienna e.g. there's a fast food joint on each corner and you still don't see so many fat people and virtually no morbidly obese ones.

Once the overhead for a customer in a restaraunt is covered, the portion sizes don't figure very strongly in the profit margin...
