I visted Kyomu's hometown Barcalona in Spain once, There were NO fat people there, seriously everyone was lean... apart from other tourists

same you see in latvia - I think I saw one single fat person - they don't have fast food joints there - I mean they have one McDonald in Riga and no take away fried shit.
But you have to be a communist or a hippie to put 1+1 together and suggest that countries who have a lot of fast food places also have a higher obesity rate.

It's not just fast food, it's lazyness and endulgement.  America has lived beyond its means for a long time and that's about to bit most of us in the ass.

Food in Spain, France, Germany, etc. is very fatty too. It's just portion size. For some reason, in the US a normal sized meal has to have at least 2000kcals.
In Vienna e.g. there's a fast food joint on each corner and you still don't see so many fat people and virtually no morbidly obese ones.
