 It depends what you mean by "unemployed".

 I once quit my job to travel around South America and Asia for a while.

 I once worked independently for a while.

 I usually don't go for typical "success jobs" but i'm always active and productive. Right now i'm at work. I pull pretty heavy paychecks these days.

 Yeah I know there are risks.

 With these drugs it's all psychological though. These days I never mess with drugs that are physically dangerous like I used to. I've learned to value my health.

I had a friend of mine back in high school that loved shrooms and acid and shot his father's head clean off his shoulders while tripping one night-he thought he was the devil  . I think I'll stick to alcohol

In social situations, no drug is better at allowing me to feel free of social awkwardness and enjoy myself. of course, that's assuming I don't go overboard (which happens more often than not).

However, you are right, the general feeling associated with alcohol is not pleasant and hangovers are a bitch.  Ergo, if I'm just chilling at home, a few puffs of some really good dank does me proper.

Psychadelics are too much of a mindfuck to be pleasant.  Stims are great if you like feeling edgy.  Painkillers make me puke.  I do enjoy the feeling of benzos but I avoid them because I can't remember shit during the time they are active in my system.
