Better hope the bill collector doesn't keep chasing you in Heaven or Hell.

Wrong. It is best not to worry about things over which you have no control. Better to live and enjoy life to its fullest every day.

No heaven or hell, you'll get reborn to live the same life over and over for all eternity! So personal death is basically to be born into the same life again as a perpetuum mobile.

Who did you learn this from?

It's metaphysical knowledge based on an everlasting universe with limited (finite) space and matter. Every finite thing or modus are doomed to repeat itself over and over again.

I've heard of reincarnation into a new life but never living the same life over and over again.

Science of Mind is a metaphysical religion/philosophy which I've studied since my parents introduced it to me during my childhood.

A metaphysical definition of death is presented according to the anthropology of St. Thomas Aquinas. The arguments used are St. Thomas' proof of the unity of body and spirit, his doctrine on the requirement for sufficient bodily formation for spiritual Ensoulment, and the supernatural end of the human person's life on earth. The conclusion reached is that two conditions must be met to define bodily death: the body must no longer be capable of the most basic function of a material living being, which is to maintain its own energy supply; and the body must no longer be able to serve the spirit in its moral choices--that is, a permanent, irrecoverable state of unconsciousness is present. If these two conditions are found, then the form of the body is no longer sufficient for Ensoulment to persist and the body is dead. Medical diagnoses of brainstem death and death from cardiac arrest are discussed in the light of this definition.

Man is born of eternal day, not because he wills or wishes it, not because he labors or strives toward it, not because he earns it as a reward, but simply because the Spirit has breathed life into him.

Everyone dies. Hopefully I had my Vince Lombardi priorities in order. God, family then career.  On the waning days of your life as the cliche goes you never care about not spending enough time at work. Your loved ones will define your life.  Money doesn't have value without health.

Who gives a ruddy fuck.

Be honourable and decent and pursue that which makes you happy.

Then flake off into the cosmos as space dust.

No big thing.

No.. your BODY is dust and will it then return..

YOU are NOT your body....

We are eternal spirits on a human experience..... not humans on a spiritual one

I've heard of reincarnation into a new life but never living the same life over and over again.

It's the old metaphysical wisdom from the stoic's, the universe is eternal in time but limited in matter and must necessarily recycycle itself. It has to be that way or the universe had already finished itself long time ago or it would be dependent on an external God or creator.

When the totallity is eternal all the parts and sequences must be eternal also, so when you dies and it takes - let's say 1001 Bazillion years to get reborn it will feel like less than a fraction of a second from the very moment when your brain activities stops.

Why? There will ofcourse be no sense of time when you are dead so no matter how long time it takes in earth years you will not feel the time passing. So you die and in a fraction of felt time you are born again and so over and over.

This IS your eternal life, enjoy...;-)

There is no evidence for any of the arguments about what happens when we die.  That's why it is the grand question that can never be proven or disproven.  When your body drops if you are still conscious that will be your proof.  If you die and there is no consciousness you won't realize it because you won't exist.  I personally like Pascal's Wager:

Don't worry, when you're dead you'll never know you ever existed.

In 50-75 years no one will visit your grave stone and they will not remember you either.  BTW, when's the last time you visited your grandparents or other relatives graves?

I tell people this all the time and it makes them depressed.

fair enough.....the general public Grasp the concept of a life after death and that the dead are still conscious and is aware they're no longer in the physical existence.....my question is when was the last time their loved ones contacted them and inform of their whereabouts (Hell or Heaven).....if I'm dead and went to heaven, I'd be damn fucking sure contact all my homies and tell them how much fun I'm having wherever the hell I might be.... ;D

So you are saying life and death are like this?

Oh, it keeps going alright.

You live in a continuous loop in which you go through iterative instances of your life, all with different outcomes.

When people get Alzheimer's, why does the soul not remember anything or provide consciousness?

The symphony stops when someone massacres the orchestra.  It doesn't mean Beethoven's 9th ceases to exist.  It just isn't being manifest.

Wednesday, an older guy  [81 years old]   who frequents one of the gyms that i go to met his ultimate fate at the hands of a car.  he was crossing the street at 7 am to go to the gym never made it off the street. he died yesterday from blunt force trauma. pretty ironic,  he went to the gym for his health  and this is ultimately what caused his demise.

No, his laziness, and not using the crosswalk caused his demise.

Exactly! Is it the gym's fault he jay-walked? No.
