FBI executes 'series of search warrants,' raids Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's office
Washington (CNN)The FBI raided the office of Michael Cohen, a personal lawyer and confidant of President Donald Trump, Cohen's attorney confirmed to CNN Monday.
Stephen Ryan, a lawyer for Cohen, said in a statement that the US Attorney's office for the Southern District of New York had executed "a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications" between Cohen and his clients.
A White House official said Trump had been watching TV reports of the FBI raiding Cohen's office, and that Trump knew about the raid before the news broke.
Ryan's statement called the search "completely inappropriate and unnecessary," and said federal prosecutors had told him it stemmed partially from a referral by the office of special counsel Robert Mueller.
"I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller," Ryan said in the statement. "... It resulted in the unnecessary seizure of protected attorney client communications between a lawyer and his clients. These government tactics are also wrong because Mr. Cohen has cooperated completely with all government entities, including providing thousands of non-privileged documents to the Congress and sitting for depositions under oath."

Not good news for Trump, the DA that MUeller contacted was the newly appointed DA by Trump. Cohen only clients are Trump and his family and business empire.

Cohen is being investigated for using a home equity line to borrow the $130,000 he paid porn star Stormy Daniels.

It was revealed on Tuesday that deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein signed off on his recusal and approved the raid of Coehn's office and hotel room

How do you know he had nothing to do with Russia? Also, if you read carefully or actually pay attention to the news, other than Fox News, then you would know that Mueller referred the case to the U.S. Attorney in Southern District of Manhattan because it didn't have anything to do with Russia, and was not part of Mueller's investigation. It is for the payments to porn stars, and other financial dealings of Cohen himself.

Why is Trump so nervous? What does he have to hide? If he truly was innocent, which its blatantly obvious he's not to anyone that walks upright, then he would want the investigation to carry out to its conclusion, he'd be laughing at the investigation because he would know he has nothing to hide, but he's doing the exact opposite. A person could not act any more guilty than he is. He is guilty as fuck, and he knows his days are numbered.

There are several people that have to sign off on a search warrant. Federal search warrants are not just handed out, christ do some research. There has to be evidence of a crime or cover up of a crime, and especially so in this case where it is the president's personal attorney. You do realize that Rosenstein is a Republican hand picked by Donnie dumbfuck, so is Wray, Mueller is also a republican as well, so save the bullshit about it being a witch hunt. Anybody that supports Trump is simply a moron, period.
