Very nice, I have one.  It's chops up anything you put into it.  I've had mine for 3-4 years, so it's durability is a plus.

Terrible blender for 2x daily or more use. Pain in the ass to clean. Poor lid design. The (2) small caps on the lid are easy to lose and hard to wash. Too many silly speeds and settings... totally unnecessary. Average capacity and way overpriced. >:(

Do not buy that blender.

Buy one of these. $69 bucks and it will last for years. They're strong, big capacity and easy to clean.

I use a $25 Hamilton Beach Blender... chops ice and gives me a real nice smoothie. I can't see the point of spending more than that. My afternnon shake is frozen brewed starbucks, chocolate Muscle Meals and is the bomb.
and keep moving!

Grab the blade with one hand a turn it on with the other.

That'll do us all a favor.

I had a KitchenAid and I returned it. The blades are just too dull. You can't even cut your finger on one. They're okay for just protein shakes, but to chop up ice and frozen fruit, they suck. Get a Waring for $100 like all the bars have or if you're just making protein shakes get a Magic Bullet!

I agree with the downside comments.  It looks better than it performs!  However, do check out the KitchenAid Pro Line Blender!!  It IS pricey, but it's great!  Has a larger container, 48 ounces, and only two speeds, high and low, and a pulse option.  BUT, it can handle anything and liquefy it.  It works flawlessly.  The container is polycarbonate, not glass.  Start it out on slow speed and then ramp it up to high, and in 30 seconds, it's done!!

I have one and HATE its performance although I may have gotten a defective one and not known it.  Cost me $100 bucks 6 years ago  >:( A friend of mine has the same one and it seems to work fine.  For $100 bucks, Starbucks has a nice one.  :o Yes, Starbucks.

Complete garbage, way.. WAY overpriced.. I've never paid more then $30 for a blender and they usually last a good solid 4-5 years (until they start getting dirty and full of protein powder (flying around in the air) etc.

IMO, Bally's has the BEST blenders, I think they're like 5hp or something.. crazy, those things will go through anything, they're about $250 but are made to last 20 years.

Vita-mix one of the best blenders you can buy! They are spendy, but they will chop up anything and turn it to liquid.
