You have been "leaner"?  Want to also talk about the time 40 years ago when you benched 225?   It doesn't count.

Don't forget to also add that you have massive organ failure too in addition to emaciated.

You do realize people die from a viral or bacterial infection? A sore throat is an infection. It can kill you. It was absolutely the worst sore throat I have ever had. It was acute bad for about 5 days going into the show. I could not even sleep it was so bad much less swallow food or water without pain. It has been 3 weeks now and I am still experiencing the lingering effects. I am still hacking and coughing flem in the mornings. I still have a head cold.

Lucky for me I am flying out to Cali this Sunday to see a specialist about the pec tear. Legs and back just take time. They are improving. Getting a full cage with a lat pull down, low row will help my back and leg development. But need to move first

I never said I was a great bodybuilder but yes absolutely from the average persons perspective I am a Beast. Am I going to win Open contest no. Am I going to win over 40 bodybuilding contest? Not yet need more legs.  Can I win state and regional over 40 classic contest? Yes absolutely

Can I win over 45 classic Nationals? I think the potential is there. I think getting the pec fixed would help. I am 46 if I work at it, I do think winning it is a realistic goal. But yeah getting the pec fixed might delay everything a year. Still though by 50 I think I can win it.

But regardless winning an NPC show in a lineup of 3 with a torn pec and titanium knees at 46 years old is a big accomplishment.

Way to make yourself out to be such a "fighter".   It was so bad you went ahead and did the show knowing that you had an infection that could kill you.  Damn...you really ARE a bad ass.

I am VERY aware that the cause of pharyngitis is more often viral and that the streptococcal cause (least likely) is bacterial.  I also know that the viral resolves on its own and the bacterial does require more expansive treatment.  Which do you have Brian?  Did you get yourself some bio-identical antibiotics? 

You also realize that training hard (ha ha...I actually laughed when associating that with you) will put a compromise on your immune system blunting the ability to fight off whichever version you have.  Hopefully you are gargling with some salt-water....not other salty solutions.

So, negative on bacterial yet you take antibiotic.  A guy with gut issues takes something that fucks with the flora in the gut despite the fact they don't need it.  Definitely an intelligent move.
