If by good life you mean living in a house with enough rooms to support a family of 4 and a decent sized garden away from the shitty suburbs inhabited by violent third worlders, then whatever the occidental country you live in you ll need at least 200 000 to 300 000 US $ to own one.
The real question is how fast can you earn that money WITHOUT GETTING ANY MORTGAGE/DEBTS, preferably before you hit the 40s, if you didnt inherit shit from your parents who might have not cared much about your sorry ass. Then, what kind of job pays enough to sustain -with wife staying at home and taking care of you and kids, maybe working a part time job- such a lifestyle until you retire.
