Paco Rabbane 1 Million
Chanel Egoist
Burberry Brit
These are the ones in my current rotation. Might get something with most fall/winter appropriate base notes. I know a lot of middle eastern dudes go nuts with the 1 Million so don't wear it to a club or anything. All the brown dudes wear it, but I fucking love the scent. It has a strong projection and lasts a long time.
Egoist doesn't project very far and wears off fast. Smells very refreshing and while people online review it as smelling masculine, to me, it smells very feminine. I like it though. Smells awesome.
Burberry Brit is my old mainstay. I wear this mainly for the wife. If you spray it on a hoody it'll smell great for a long time. I NEVER spray colognes on clothes or rub them when they're on my skin as it's a huge newb faux pa. But it smells great on worn clothes. I don't care for the scent too much anymore but I go back to it every now and again. My gym hoodies get a spray of this and it keeps them smelling awesome.
Creed makes some good colognes. I never really understood the hype about Aventus. I got the batch that has the pineapple tones but I'm still not understanding it. People apparently love it, but I don't understand it. I like their Green Irish Tweed though. Very fresh and piney. I might get some for spring and then switch to another scent in the summer. I don't know how it fares in the hot, hot heat. But in nice warm weather, it smells very nice.
thepurfumedcourt.com and basenotes.net are some good cologne sites. TPF does decants, so if you want to order just a few mls of a scent you can take the plunge and order like 10 different ones and see which ones make panties moist. They smell different on different people, you shouldn't rub them like a newb (spritz and leave it the fuck alone) and different seasons and environments could affect the scents as well. I used to think if x shit smelled good I'd want to get it, but there's a lot more to it than that.
BN has tons of insane reviews and breaks down the appropriate seasons for certain colognes. Has links to sites where you can buy full bottles and decants. I really suggest getting decants though. Something could smell great on one person and smell like shit on another person. The three I mentioned at a few of my favorite though, and they're not too expensive.
