tell me about it.  I almost broke down and got one today.  Then i went to sam's club abd there is a Mykonos Taverna right beside it.  Damn you Greeks!  oh and all hail baklava, which granted is more ottomman/turkish, da greeks do it right.  mmm and octopus

I love making baklava, but it's a pain in the arse. I wish I could effen remember this place in Astoria, Queens that served the best octopus in the world, better than my ya ya's

I know it's a break from tradition and it's not a popular move at the dinner table but roasted lamb + rooster sauce = the shit

With the right ingredients I can make a tzatziki sauce comparable to any of the more reputable 5 star restaurants for under $8

Last Sunday i ordered a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeery nice pita gyro with extra tzatziki!!!

Migs you should try another style of baklava, with cream called "ekmek kantaifi". All those are ottoman but Greeks do it better!!! Octopus, shrimps, Greek salad, fresh olive oil, OYZO, sea and sun...
