Sounds good, though I have a few critiques-
1) I'm not too much of an expert on that genre, but a lot of guys have a tone that sounds so similar, but that tone IMO is a little on the horrid side. Too many effects covering up what technique you may have- which one must have good technique to play like this, why not show it a little more? Guys like Eric Johnson (who does go for a different feel on many of his songs), have impeccable technique and a tone that is cool. EJ's tone would show a mistake instantly, kind of a catch-22 where his tone shows off his playing, but could also show how rotten he is should he not be too good!
2) Learn to deaden a note instantly. There are many places I heard where you should have just killed the note, but you let it ring as you slid up/down the neck. Basically, you would be playing a dotted quarter where it should be just a quarter or eighth note after a rest.
Aside from those two minor critiques, you sound like you know how to play-not some chump that overdubbed a track and is calling it his own.
I also have struggled as a professional musician, but after making 9k in one year, I said "Forget this." Just playing occasionally now, but always practicing.
Keep up the good work.
