So, the developer says it was bad, you didn't even play it launch, and you're saying it was the best game ever. You make a great argument. 
Back this up. Show me how it sold millions (sold and shipped are different). NPD just started tracking PC game sales, so don't start there.

His company, Id, got purchased because Doom 3 bombed so bad. By the way, Rage won almost every award at E3 for best looking game.....on both the 360 and PS3.
PC gaming is here to stay if you play MMORPGs and Sims9. PC gamers refuse to admit that their platform has been slowly dying and it's their own fault.

game sales or no, pc will allways outlook consoles in every aspect, consoles dont' even come close.
Another example; compare quake wars: Enemy territory on pc using 1920*1200 16xAF and 16xAA on, and then compare it to ps3 and xbox36... guess what, the console looks like counterstrike with old school OpenGL and it still chops like a ####... many BASIC aspects of the game had to be removed because even after lowering the graphics below SHIT, the game coudln't play at all in consoles.
I mean REALLy . Who gives a shit about sales anyway. Gameplay/looks is the only thing i care, I don't care where the developer sleeps at night, what I care about is that pc's can fly jumbo jets and I'm willing to pay 500 euros per component to have it.
