Orville was a beast to be sure, but he was a hodgepodge of bodyparts that didnt flow well at all.  He realized his potential with his 6th place finish at the 2001 Olympia.

I hope he's doing well these days; it's a shame what happened to him.

I dunno about winning the title, but maybe top 3.

It would have been interesting to see how he would have gone if this whole "situation" never occured...

after his surgery incident and brush with death I remember them mentioning in the article that he had dealt with an enlarged heart and uncontrolled high blood pressure for a long time... in the long run it may have been a blessing in disguise, he probably bought himself a new lease on life by changing his lifestyle when he did... he would probably be retired one way or another by now regardless and no better off financially or health-wise.

this happened a few years ago...

he basically injured I believe one of his triceps, surgery was the only option to fix it but he was advised against general anesthesia given his poor health, he went ahead with it anyways and slipped into a coma for a while and that was pretty much the end of his career.

I can't remember if it was on this board, but someone saw him fairly recently and said he has shrunk down to nothing.. I would be curious to see a pic but that probably won't happen, as I understood it he basically walked away from the whole scene and doesn't go to expos, shows etc.

perhaps someone else has more information...

orville was a beast,coleman and him would have been good head to head for while,he's like a stubbs with legs,thickish skin hurt his overall look.
