After reviewing the large number of competitors it was decided to increase the weight in each class by five pounds. NPC national competitions and regional and state contests will have the option to offer 4 height classes or to stay with the 2 or 3 height classes they are currently using. Here are the breakdowns for the different height classes starting with 4 height classes.

Today it's more about drugs over genetics. Example, see Branch Warren. Little midget boy has the worst genetics, but made up for it by using insane doses of gear.

Ronnie looked better in the 90's.

I would never want to look like the guys competing today.

Fair enough, i haven't followed BBing in about a decade so i'm not even sure who most top Mr O guys are.

Same logic applies though, most of these guys are making up for their lack of genetics.

I would not like to look like him, he has terrible calves. However, he does have a very solid build.

BBing is more popular than ever before. In the "Golden Age," it was considered an obscure cult held in high school gyms. BBing has expanded and has presented so many opportunities that were unimaginable back in your heyday. Crowds are bigger, big money is made in so many aspects having its roots in bbing. A top pro makes a good living lifting weights and posing. Certainly way better than those in the Golden Age when only Franco and Arnold could make a living just from bbing. Look at the "Pump-up Room" Franco had to endure prior to his 1981 win. Some stinking basement where he has to look around for something he can do an exercise on only to break a make-shift pull-up bar. Now a pump-up room can easily double for a pretty decent commercial gym.

We tend to overestimate how much women are into big muscles. In my experience, they like a toned fit guy but peak Rory would be over the top and off putting even with that face.

Back in the day I used to ask women which guy they thought had a great body. The most common answer I got was David Lee Roth. This was back in the 80s when he was in his prime.

You are correct Ronnie was not 56 years old in 2007, but he is today. Branch is currently 47 and big Rammy is 36. The dates are when they last competed. I wrote, "Branch and Ronnie are so yesterday, not today", which makes sense if you read ThisisOverload's post to which I was replying.
