Tattoo sleeves, stupid childish outfits of jerseys and matching shorts that look like they’re off the clearance rack at Dick’s, overly groomed faces with perfectly tweezed eyebrows and angular beards, flat-brimmed hats, fades. And then there’s the obnoxious body language. Bobbing the head to rap, walking around slowly and surveilling the surroundings with a shit face on, as if they’re scary to everyone.

Who else is thoroughly sick of these guys. I’m totally unafraid of them.

And what’s up with god-awful tattoos generally these days? They look dirty as all hell.

I despise most of the population so other than a few brief stints where circumstances meant I had to use a gym have almost always trained at home. Those types you mention are annoying enough to look at in every day life without having to share a gym with the cunts especially those fucking hats

I stopped for the last six months training in a commercial gym.  When I did I kept to myself for the most part. There was a small circle of people I was friendly with but I never was a gym socializer. I'm there to work.  In my basement gym I can get into a zen zone of solitude and get the work done.

Bodybuilding does attract a strange crew of guys. Calling a spade a spade most are insecure trying to be a man.  No greater example of this is all the guys using a short range of motion to handle heavy weights. Doing shallow knee bends in the leg press with the weight of a car is a prime example. Look at me. I have 900lbs on the leg press. Same with shallow delt and pec presses. One guy would go into the shoulder press machine and lower the seat to the absolute bottom. Then he put the pin on the last plate for use. If he had that seat up he wouldn't be able to move that weight for a rep. Don't get me wrong. There were a lot of great people working out who worked out hard at the old school bodybuilding commercial gym where I trained.
