Of all the pics I've seen of The Myth, I'd say these are the ones that really stand out for me. The first pic has got to be my favorite of him!

The scary thing is he said his brother had better genetics than him !! one of my all-time favorites

That back exercise machine, why do gyms favor lat pull down machine instead of those, I like those better

Thanks for posting the pics. Sergio vs Arnold in the 1970 Mr World was the first time I saw a real bodybuilder.
I was 12 and the contest was shown live on ABC's Wide World of Sports on saturday in prime time.
I wanted to be a bodybuilder ever since.

Sergios forearm muscle starts at the elbow and goes down almost to his wrist. Crazy!!

It is the original Nautilus PullOVER * and I actually got to use one just like that at the Naut training center in Deland FL 30 yrs ago.
Dorian Yates has a similar model for his lats at his gym in England.
It is like a pec dec for your lats. Unreal back pump!

Why doesn't every gym have this? Less people would be walking around with strained shoulder muscles and bigger backs if gyms had this instad of wide grip cable pull downs everywhere

Howard, that is an original Nautilus Pullover.
I have owned two of those, the first I retrofitted with needle bearings (took out the brass bushings) and it was smooth as glass. Someone offered me a load of money for that machine, and I sort of needed some funds at the time, but I stumbled upon another one in great shape, and now own that.

i saw sergio in person at the 84 o. he was still awesome even then.

The first time I met him was I believe at the 2004 Arnold Classic. He seemed pretty frail.

In fact, I had brought with me the February 1968 issue of Ironman with him on the cover to sign. When I presented it to him he was very surprised and asked where I got it. I told him eBay.

Dorian's is okay, you can't adjust the seat though.

Sergio's condition guest posing at the 1971 Mr. Olympia was sick! More so, I think, than at the 1972 Mr. Olympia. Too bad he couldn't compete against Arnold. That would've been a sight to behold!

Yeah. In one of my Musclemag International magazines Sergio was saying how he'd eat pizza, black beans & rice and down them with Coke. All the way up to a show!
