all that will happen is that you will wake up the next moring, hit the snooze button on your alarm clock and continue about the day living out the rest of your dreadfully boring life till the day you die.

I sorta think the whole 2012 thing is about humans reconnecting with their relationship with nature and spirit. We can use what knowledge we have now to predict tomorrow and seeing how far quantum physics is going, I won't be surprised if they come to scientifically discover "god". Not a god as an invisible man in the sky, but the nature of the universe. I mean, it's already been confirmed by quantum physics that everything in the universe is essentially precipitated thought and bits of information, as if we are the thoughts of some divine mind. Ponder that for a while!
